I have been eating in and taking out for many years, usually purchase same meal "American Type" meal, pepper steak.
After all these years, I tried their noon buffet the other day and the selections were varied and I tried several new dishes.
Another plus is the desert bar....something that I have been eyeing for many years. A wonderful delight in it self.
Even the price is lower than menu meal

Forget this being another chain. This is a real locally owned steakhouse. I went there for lunch because I saw they had chicken and, in fact, broasted chicken was a special that day. I'd describe this as a steakhouse that is a cross between a steak house filled with local regulars and return customers and a middle American diner. Waitresses wear these great t-shirts (I didn't see them on sale and would have bought one) with the name of the steakhouse on it. There are no pretensions here. The food is reasonably priced, service fast and excellent. They're not trying to copy Sizzler in design, concept or with overpriced food. Just offering a really nice steakhouse with other items and specials, in a homey downtown atmosphere. Highly recommended (unless you're hooked on restaurant chain pretensions).

Always a family favorite and if you like authentic Mexican food be sure to visit Jalisco in downtown Fairbury. Extremely quick service and always served with a smile. Prices are fair for the delicious meal you are are served and you never go away hungry. Highly recommend this restaurant for the whole family!

a runza is a Hungarian food that is kind of like a burrito only with heavier bread and it's kind of baked. the ingredients are meat(hamburger) onions cabbage etc. runza's the store used to be really good but they have went the way of hamburgers and sandwiches which for me is sad. if I want hamburgers i'll go to a hamburger place. I go to runza's for a runza. now on to the service and food. service was ok, guess its about what a person expects anymore, allot of young people working the summer not wanting to be there and almost showing just enough interest to wait on you. food was what I expected but damn can we do something about the cost?

Main Street Coffee House, located inside Stagecoach Mall Antiques and Tasting Room serves the finest coffee drinks, freshly baked pastries, breakfast items and fresh, farm to table style lunches, with a different lunch special every day. Group reservations required, call 402.587.2521.
Met a business associate for lunch and was looking for somewhere non-traditional for lunch. I had heard that the Stagecoach Restaurant was a good place to eat and that the meals were prepared fresh. My friend and I were greeted immediately by the proprietor and sat promptly at a table. We ordered the lunch special which was a Steak Salad, the meal was prepared freshly and quickly. The Salad was served with fresh grilled Prime Rib strips and salad greens with home-made salad dressing. The meal also included a fresh home-made dessert which was was a nice finish to the meal. I would recommend dining at this local restaurant especially if you are looking for a lite non-traditional lite eclectic meal. FYI, there is no menu available and each meal is pre-planned for that day. The Stagecoach Restaurant & Mall also includes antique shopping and outside sitting and dining is available.

Ordered breakfast pizza for work. I paid for it the day before when I ordered but was still told I needed to go to the register. Line was long, cashier was flustered, customers were getting upset having to wait so long. When I finally got to the counter, I was asked why did you come up here when it's all paid for? Because I was told to, I replied. Cashier's response was how F***ing stupid. Let's say I won't be going into this place any time soon.

Griffey's was recommended to us at dinner the night before. We're glad we took the advice! Good food, good service, and friendly local patrons. I wish we'd eaten dinner there the night before. I'd definitely return there for breakfast next time through Fairbury.

Prices were higher than we are used to at Pizza Hut. Also if you want a small or medium sized pizza, be prepared for your selection of crusts to be limited. Every time a member of our party would ask for a certain size and a specific crust, we heard, "sorry, can't make that pizza in that size crust." Really, take a knife and trim a large pizza crust to fit a small pan. Seriously. No room for flexibility here. Through all of that the pizza was yummy.

Stopped while going through town. Wished I hadn't. Lettuce was wilted, tomatoes were pink, bread was dry, meat had an unhealthy looking sheen to it. When I asked about using my coupon, they said no. When I asked why, they said it was up to each store manager as to whether to accept the "national" coupons or not. I was told this franchise did not honor those coupons. It was then that I decided to eat elsewhere. As I was leaving the store, I could hear some nasty comments about me.
