If you want the best fried chicken and family-style dinner around...this is the place. The other meat options are great...but the fried chicken is the best. You need three guests to get family-style options and bring CASH...no credit cards accepted. Make a reservation. You will not be disappointed!

its like going to subway and building a pizza. Pizza toppings were good and flavorfull. The method of cooking which is very fast made for a dry tasteless crust. Had lunch ordered eaten and left in under 30 minutes.

Had the House Special pizza and it was a thin crust which I prefer. It was awesome. Tried the sampler for their beer and ended up with the Blondle version which was very good. Pricing was fair for meal. Great dining venue.

From its historic sites to its beautiful, sea-swept coasts, Greece is a country rich in history, tradition and character. At the Acropolis restaurant, you will experience the rich tradition and character through our authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. As you feast on our genuine Greek specialties prepared with the freshest ingredients, you will savor the flavors that only the most experienced chefs can create.
Doros is the best owner in the city of evansville. He graduated from Montclair in new jersey and used his culinary/greek cuisine skills to perfection. The lunch specials are incredible, all under $10 and 75 cent yingling on Mondays make Mondays worth smiling about. This place is worth a date, worth the catering, worth the price. Fantastic.

Casual Italian restaurant offering an extensive selection of house-made and imported pastas, soups and salads, pizza, seafood, steaks and desserts. Large portions of affordably priced menu selections are prepared with the freshest ingredients available.
We went on a Wednesday night, had a reservation and were seated immediately by a lovely hostess. Our server introduced himself (which many don't at other restaurants and we have to ask their name), and gave us excellent service. The bread and dipping oil was so good and was the perfect start of our meal (along with a glass of wine!). We ordered the cheese ravioli and the chicken/shrimp ziti, along with two small house side salads. Beware! The small side salad is large enough to feed two or three but great!
The meals were served hot and the plates were full. So, we were way too full to order dessert. But we will be back, for sure!

Was taken out for dinner here last weekend by locals. The serving sizes are HUGE. The chicken came on the bone, I wasn't expecting that. The Turkey I had was in pieces and I really enjoyed that, so much easier to apply the BBQ sauces. Yup, you apply the sauces yourself from bottles on the table. I tried three kinds, mixing up my two favorites at one point. I was warned by our hosts that the Turkey might be dry but I loved mine as it was. I really liked the sweet potato fries, fries, and corn as well. The bread was served in two large slices and nicely soft inside while crispy on the edges. The prices varied a great deal but our server brought out styrofoam boxes for leftovers.

Crowded but no surprise there. Food was excellent as always except for one steak (so who orders steak at a seafood place?). Steak was thin dry and stringy yuck. Stick with the seafood. scallops were excellent as was the shrimp and salmon.

Just like the Gerst House in Nashville, very boring flavors. No way were the meals reminiscent of original German fares. About the only items with any flair were the sauerkraut and draft beers. Spatzle was out of the box, at least the gravy was from a can, if you can call those homemade. Sorry, folks, save your money and just have two beers and the pretzel. I do know food from Germany, this ain’t that! Atmosphere makes for a nice place to drink beer!

Flawless steaks. Fresh seafood. Impeccable service. Enjoy the finest cuisine paired with sweeping river views. Cavanaugh’s is the perfect place for the perfect evening.
Went for dinner on a Friday. Started with the Caprise salad. Great tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, not too big , delicious. A strip steak, medium rare. Cooked to perfection. Cooked garlic in olive oil for the fresh bread, very nice. The unexpected star of the show. Creamed spinach. Recommend by the waitress. The best hands down. Must try it.
Staff was friendly and the piano in the bar set the mood.
Definitely worth a visit.

My brother planned a birthday party for his wife at China Bistro one of her favorite restaurants. I hadn't been there for a long time. We had 17 people in our party and the service was very good. Everyone had something different. The vegetable rolls were crisp and delicious. The salad had a very good dressing on it. Egg foo young isn't listed on the menu but I asked if they make it and they do it was delicious. I had the shrimp. My nephew had never had it and I gave him some of mine and he loved it. Big portions. They let us bring our own birthday cake and took pictures for us. Nice evening.
