My wife and I stopped there for dinner. The restaurant is large, bright, and comfortable. It was also doing a brisk business.
The service was very good.
I had the chicken nuggets and steak combo. The chicken was done with a crispy coating and I enjoyed that very much. The steak was just fine.
My wife had the grilled chicken and ribs combo. She said the ribs were good and tender.
This restaurant gave me the impression that all age groups like to go there because of their food menu.
If you're in town and hungry, go to Michael's.

Stopped in for quick lunch. I got their chicken salad sandwich on wheat with fries (of course, their black beans and rice is great too). Absolutely LOVE their chicken salad!

This place is always pretty busy. Lunch was good. It is so interesting inside as the decorations are unique. It's more like a Cracker Barrel atmosphere. Service was fast & very good. Would recommend a stop here.

I'm happy I found this place while passing through Athens, TN. I didn't want typical fast food. I wanted good food fast. That's exactly what I got at Don Armandos. The service was excellent. The menu is extensive - something for everyone. Great food. Very reasonably priced. Appropriate portions. Highly recommended.

I am visiting friends in Tennessee and we went out for lunch. Beautiful day out so we sat outside at a picnic table. Having lived in the west for 30 years I was surprised that I had never heard of several items on the menu. Being adventuresome with food I tried something new. And the food was awesome great flavor tried a bite of another dish and it too was flavorful. Recommend this restaurant if you want good Mexican food

Apparently, it had closed, remodeled, and just reopened. Good stuff, and great breakfast. If you can on a nice day, grab one of the two outdoor tables. I believe they're still going thru some growing pains though....we waited a VERY long time for our breakfast...turns out the flattop takes forever to cook the hash browns. A word of warning from the wait-staff may be good. Otherwise, great local sausage, and the better sausage gravy than my Grandma cooked!

We have been in the Athen's Michel's and have had good experience, so we tried the one in Etowah. We both had burgers and sweet potatoes fries. As usual, the burger was big and juicy. The sweet potatoes fries were excellent! They have a slight Cinnamon flavor and are delicious, Will definitely go again.

THis is the place to have a biscuit and gravy in the mornings, they also serve hamburgers, hotdogs, milkshakes, etc, but I go for breakfasts. They also have cinnamon biscuits, handy to the local hospital on hwy 411 north just past the Athens hwy intersection

We placed an order at the drive up and waited and waited, 20 minutes from order to receiving with only 2 cars ahead of us. As we pulled up to retrieve our order we could see inside the window. The young man that took our order was running around taking orders, drawing drinks, packing bags and collecting the money. In the background by the walk up counter another clerk was standing there flipping cups like a game, chatting with someone...seriously...you have a line of cars and one poor guy doing all the work and you are oblivious to it all. Mismanaged....
