We stopped here enroute from San Francisco to Yosemite and the guys liked their burgers so much we made sure it was our stop on the way back too! Strawberry shake was great too. The girl that was there both days was super friends and the young guy on day two was also great! Real family feel to the place. We liked it a lot.

Ice cream and sandwich shop in Escalon CA
Excellent ice cream at very reasonable prices. They had a great selection of choices, more then a single visit can answer unfortunately. It's well worth the stop to/from Yosemite.

This Starbucks location is one of the best that I have visited in Northern California. The employees work hard to keep the wait times to a minimum, are friendly, and are very focused on superior customer service. It shows. The coffees are made perfectly, as well. If they are not to the customer's liking for whatever reason, they will cheerfully remake the drink. I have never had the opportunity to do this, however, as all of my drinks have been wonderful.

Car racing themed Grill with a separate Pub attached. Variety of burgers and toppings with your choice of several different types of fries. Variety of salads, drinks, desserts. Nice place to take the family or to get together for a sports game. Not to loud in dining area, nice for those with hearing problems. Good American family eatery.

Friendly & efficiency service and satisfying, fresh and delicious food.
Excellent value family pizza restaurant especially the serve yourself salad bar with pizza and soup, at $6 each.
The place to stop on your way to Yosemite or in town to visit. We always stop here when we visit at least once a year.

Wanting local flavor for lunch, we stopped here on the way home from Yosemite. Great choice! Nothing fancy, mostly just plain old good food—and some of it with interesting twists, especially combinations of peppers and so forth. If our waitress is typical of the service, you'll feel right at home. (Admittedly it was mid-afternoon on a weekday; I have no idea how it goes during busy times). She was very helpful to take care of drink refills, packing up leftovers, and even helping us find free wifi nearby we could hop onto (she insists the owner of that nearby restaurant doesn't mind).
We enjoyed it enough that if we should make the drive to Yosemite again, I'd want to stop in again.

Dine in or take out.
As is the case for the neighboring Cancun Restaurant, unfortunately, "Authentic" means you might get lots of fat and knuckles in the chicken dishes, hot indoor dining in the summer, and hit/miss service...just like middle-brow dining in Mexico. Unlike the Cancun neighbor, however, it is OK to drink the water. Cancun's water is straight, highly chlorinated, Escalon city water.

Had a business lunch here Monday. Love this place. No noise. Service was immediate and continually attentive without being intrusive, but the food... Oh my goodness. The food was delicious. The chips were obviously made there. So fresh and crisp. The salsa was fresh and perfectly seasoned. So good. I had chicken enchilada Verde and it was the best I've ever had. Everything was fresh. Plus, you get your choice of corn or flour tortilla! Who does that? This place does! The price was downright inexpensive, too. I love this place and will be back.

My husband's family has frequented Wong's for decades, and I have had the pleasure of enjoying their amazing pork chow mein and fried zucchini for 12 years. They have great main dishes as well, including cashew chicken, broccoli beef, and several others. It's not a place where you can sit and eat, it's entirely take-out, but it's a great dinner to take home with you. The owners and employees are friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend.

Consistently great pizza at a good price. The pizza is excellent. Not greasy and always hot. The restaurant is always clean and never noisy. The staff is always pleasant and smiley.
Want to know the best places in town? Ask a local. We like Pizza Plus the best.
