Let me start by saying you must make a reservation online two months before you go and you really should do it as the clock strikes midnight. We had a 6:30 reservation which we thought might be early, but since the meal took 3.5 hours, it was a perfect time. It is an expensive dinner, but if you know that going in how could you be surprised? My wife and I do not drink and our bill came out to $690 which included to extra $10 no-alcoholic cocktails.
You are treated extremely well from the beginning. The valet service takes your name so that you are greeted when you get inside. As you leave at the end the inside tells valet so your car is waiting. The courses are delicious and presented in a unique and fascinating way. The servers are knowledgeable and friendly. There was a brief intermission in which you are brought to the bakery in the next room to learn about their bread and watch somebody make some.
My wife and I have some dietary restrictions and we were taken care of with deliberate attention and detail. I would like to go back one day, but the price makes it difficult. I would definitely recommend, though.

This ‘restaurant’ is an abomination and should not get high marks. Food is terrible, highly overrated; don’t know how they claim to be Italian; Americanized version, maybe. Waste of money. Don’t bother.

Went to a birthday party here and was blown away by the passed appetizers. Everyone serves the same old appetizers at parties and these were just so unique and delicious. One was a chip with a dabble of sauce that blew us away with its perfect mix of crunch, flavor and after taste. The wontons and curry sauce were so good I kept following the wait staff for more. The service was actually impeccable. I was so impressed with the views the service and the food I will battle Long Island traffic to head back up to Irvington to do it again.

Stumbled onto Bridge View Tavern a while ago and had a great experience, so when was in a neighborhood again, went for a return visit.
What a wonderful, unpretentious place with great service and good food! A real neighborhood gem.
Everything was delicious - onion soup had lots of tasty cheese, "build-a-burger" was cooked just right, Disco fries did not disappoint, and chocolate lava cake flowed delicious chocolate.
The atmosphere was so cozy and friendly, and you could really see the bridge out the windows!
The best part was our waitress, Patti, whose services we enjoyed on the previous visit as well. She really knows how to welcome guests and make them feel appreciated and taken care of! She stopped by often to check on things, see if we needed anything, and just to share a joke or a kind word. Really made our visit special.
The plentiful meal with soft drinks, shared dessert and two coffees was just over $50, before tax and tip - a great value!
Looking forward to coming back again!

You're sure to find something you like, with a menu that pretty much includes everything: pork chops with hot and sweet peppers, meatball parmigiana, chicken Valdostana with prosciutto and mozzarella and fresh seafood, including weekly lobster specials. It also offers private rooms for catering parties.
We've been going to Rini's for several years. The food is consistently good and occasionally great. The have gluten free pasta and other options available and handle the request without any problems. The service is always great and they a especially welcoming to regulars.

Shiraz kitchen is proudly named after one of Iran's most ancient and beloved cities know for its rich culture of poetry, wine and hospitality. From our kitchen we bring you one of the oldest and most spectacular (creative) cuisines of the world. Glancing at our menu you can see the immense variety and flavors in the food which reflects the cultural and geographic diversity of the land which is native to commonly used ingredients such as pistachios. almonds, walnuts, pomegranates, cherries, roses and grapes. Flavors are further enhanced with delicate yet aromatic spices of saffron, turmeric, cinnamon and dried limes.
We have adult children who work, live and prefer to dine in Manhattan (where one is often squeezed into small spaces and subjected to overbearing levels of sound!). Where to take them after a family hike together in Westchester? Shiraz Kitchen was our choice. We knew from previous experience, it would be quiet, intimate dining, impeccable personal service, soft classical music and delectable Persian food. In tow was our 1 year old grandson. We felt warmly welcomed when, as was our preference, we were seated in the back dining room. It was so satisfying to see the smiles on my family's faces as they savored various appetizers and their individual dinner choices. They made friends with Reza Parhizkaran, the owner, who made himself available. Enjoying the unusual flavored ice creams for dessert topped off a magical dinner out together! Thank you Shiraz. Kitchen.

We made a reservation to meet out of town friends at this restaurant for its first seating.
From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed. The 2 servers were cold and gave an aloof vibe.
Food was fine but overall dining experience was tainted by this attitude. It was not the pleasant dining experience that we had hoped to have.

Westchester's favorite celebration restaurant. "The Melting Pot is pure entertainment," said the New York Times. Whether it's a romantic dinner for two, bridal event, babyshower, Ladies' Night Out, or birthday, The Melting Pot has the recipe to make all your occasions special. Relax in our private, elegant atmosphere and let our attentive servers guide you through our wide selection of fondues, fresh salads, succulent entrees and fine wines. Winner of an "Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator magazine.
We love having fondue and are repeat customers since this location opened ten years ago. It's a fun experience and is our go to place for celebrating a birthday or anniversary and in this case, a belated Valentine's Day. Tony the manager always visits every table and our server treated us very well, she was great.
The food is wonderful - we love, love, love the Fiesta cheese fondue with white/brown/pretzel bread dippers and fruit and veggies (wish they would bring back the cauliflower which I much prefer over cherry tomatoes or celery). We love the mojo course with French Quarter and Good Earth Vegetarian (I love the addition of the polpettes - spicy vegetarian friendly meatballs). And you must celebrate Valentine's Day with dark chocolate fondue! We had to roll ourselves out of there, but we were satisfied as always!
Needless to say, we will be back! We would highly recommend this restaurant. It is one of our go to places for a fun dining experience.

My coworker and I were in Tarrytown for business and since she drove it was my job to figure out where to go for lunch. The choice was easy- the number one rated restaurant in Tarrytown on TripAdvisor- Lefteris Gyro. We got there around 11:30 on a Monday and there was no one else eating there yet. We both had gyros and we were served immediately. They were delicious! The meat was very tasty and tender. I wanted to try one of everything! When we left the place had filled up and the food on other people’s tables all looked great. The town is cute and I would definitely come back the next time I’m in the area. The place is really nice and kind of small so I’m really glad we were able to get in and try it.
