The sandwiches are asian-inspired and very good with fresh and unique ingredients. There are choices such as Vietnamese Ban Mi and Thai Chicken Satay. Sandwiches comes with chips and are a good size that are sure to satisfy. Overall a very good lunch option!

Home to America's favorite Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, burgers, salads, and chocolate cake.
This Portillo's Hot Dogs is located at 170 W. North Ave., in Northlake. There is plenty of parking. It is like most other Portillo's. The staff is friendly and efficient. We ordered a beef sandwich with sweet peppers and giardiniera. More importantly, we ordered a piece of their great chocolate cake. From one hot dog cart in 1963, Portillo's Hot Dogs has expanded to about 41 locations, though sometimes it seems like there are many more. Besides the Chicago area, they open restaurants in areas where there are Chicago transplants. Come for the beef or the hot dog, but linger for that chocolate cake.

Thank you for your interest in Emilio’s Tapas. Emilio’s Tapas is an authentic Spanish Tapas Bar Restaurant conveniently located in West Suburban Hillside. Spanish cuisine can best be described as a mix of French and Italian influences; tapas are small dishes ideal for appetizers or when ordered in rounds build a complete meal. Our menu consists of regional Spanish specialties, original dishes created by Emilio offered in both the dining room and bar for dinner daily. The restaurant is casual with spacious dining rooms and an energetic atmosphere accentuated by colorful Spanish murals, music and tiles.
Fantastic tapas dishes. 4 of us had 8 tapas and not a bad one in the bunch. Nice wine, band and dancers gave a little slice of authentic Spain to the evening. Prices were very reasonable for this upscale restaurant in the heart of the...MoreGracias for your review and rating, we appreciate it. I don't know about anything "ancient" here. The pasta is hand-crafte dso it's certainly not ancient. And the people are a nice mix of young, old and families. All nationalities. A cute little birthday girl with a sparkler. Buzzing but not noisy.
In the first floor of Oak Brook Center office building. Convenient to garage. Staff is knowledgeable, quick and welcoming. For us, quick seating. Near window. Lots of action.
I had the scallops in angel hair. Very good. Our family members all had three plates of shrimp linguini. They offer brick oven pizzas. Margueritas pizzas are specialities. Pistachio gellato is delicious.

Consistently poor service thru the drive thru. Takes 30 mins plus to get our food and the order is routinely incorrect if you customize the meal. They get your credit card right away so you can’t even cancel the order. Would avoid his location and visit another Portillos. Last visit the first manager blew us off before a second manager finally made sure we got our order.

Great breakfast food served by pleasant people. Eggs prepared right. I like their eggs Florentine. They usually have coffee flavors depending on the season. My spouse had peppermint coffee, but I am still a regular coffee drinker. Restaurant is usually busy, so may have to wait. Finding parking could be an issue since they are next to a Walgreen's Pharmacy. But, it is worth the wait and hassle.

This restaurant always lives up to its promise. I have been here many times and will continue to so into the future. Wonderful tasty food, great service, helpful suggestions for food and wine. Monday special, half price bottles, is a bonus. A great "neighborhood" place for any occasion or just to get a wonderful meal. If you don't see what you want they will prepare 'off the menu' items per your order! Can't go wrong here.

I can say without a doubt this is the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. We ordered take out. The wait was 45 minutes and worth every second. The pizza itself didn’t look very special at all. We ordered a half pepperoni and half sausage deep...MoreThank you for your review, Daniel! On a recent visit to Elmhurst, we decided to have lunch at Mack's Golden Pheasant because we love German food, and the menu listed things like Wiener schnitzel. Big mistake. We should have known when it came right away. Greasy crust, tough meat, tasteless.
My husband picked a different chair than the one the hostess try to seat him in because it was covered with crumbs. There were also crumbs all over the floor.
On the bright side, the service was very good, but what does it matter when the food is bad?

We attended this restaurant on a Sunday evening. They only take reservations for groups of four or more. There were three large groups eating inside the restaurant which make it very noisy, so we asked to be seated outside. We were served bread and water right after we sat down, but no server appeared for over 10 minutes. We called this to the attention of a server who passed by. A server appeared soon and apologized for the delay. After that things improved greatly. My wife's Farfalle Ala Francesco was a delicious pasta dish. My Veal rollover, a weekly special, was one of the best I have ever had. The veal medallions were wrapped around a ricotta/spinach mixture with a creamy mushroom sauce covering them The sides of potato home fries and green beans were adequate, but not exceptional. Bottom line opinion: excellent food, but not enough servers to adequately handle the large number of Sunday evening guests
