While in/near Elma, WA on 9/16 & 17/16, I needed to find a Subway, a place to buy some deodorant and some place to eat for breakfast on Sat morning. I decided to go to McClearly to the Rain Country Restaurant hoping for a good old fashioned breakfast--eggs, bacon, hash browns, etc. It was raining but I hopped on the freeway and about 10 mins away was McClearly. As I drove down Main Street, within a triangular area was a Subway (open early in the morning), a grocery store for my deodorant, and Raintree. I had a great breakfast! Pleasant local people. Would definitely recommend this little restaurant.

The coffee shop is the typical coffee house with the sweet drinks and nearly milkshake like coffee. It's a special thing western Washington does exceedingly well and coffee coop is up there. They know how to make a great coffee but it will cost you around $5.

Food was pretty basic Mexican dishes. The staff were friendly. The chips & salsa were ok. Nothing too exciting for Mexican dishes.

My family took us to this restaurant on a recent trip on our way to the ocean. I’d heard good things about it and the decor. The molds outside are fun and eclectic! The farmhouse decor and chicken coop was adorable. That’s about the extent of our good experience. It wasn’t a busy day but it took a long time to get our food. The server had a little bit of an attitude when we asked for extra napkins and ranch. It’s like we were annoying her instead of her taking care of us. Our beverages only got refilled when we had to go track someone down to ask for refills (when my Hubby went to the bathroom he found someone on the way.) The food was marginal at best. I was looking forward to a good meal. The unique menu seems promising, I guess the better step up their game if they want to stay in business.

Breakfast and lunch served Mon - Thurs. Home made soups, sandwiches, daily specials, pizza by the slice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner Fri and Sat Prime rib Friday for dinner Pizza Friday and Saturday for in-house , take out, and delivery Beer and Wine available Full catering services available
The customer service for dinner was excellent. The dinner menu is fairly small; you can't order off the breakfast or lunch soup/sandwich menu. They did have one steak sandwich on the dinner menu which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The potato stacks that came with it were very good. There are two options for dinner salad. The salad is very big, but would have been better with more vegetables. The children's chicken tenders were good and came with fresh fruit. Everything was presented very well. The in-house made yeast rolls were large and yummy. While there, we saw one employee cleaning the menus. They have a nice selection of pies, cookies, etc. The s'mores rice krispy treat was very good. Parking outside is parallel parking along the street.

I have stopped a few times now at this drive thru and have been pleased with the food and service.
The windows are a little high for a small car and the menu is too high to read, but no other than these 2 issues... I like it!

This is my favorite place to eat in the Montesano/Elma area. I can always depend on the food and the good service here. If you don't mind the bar atmosphere, then you can't go wrong here. They have plenty of specials throughout the week and all of them are well prepared. Their standard menu is surprisingly diverse and I have yet to be disappointed with something I've ordered.

We read about this little gem in the local paper and had to give them a try - wonderful hamburgers ("prepared with lots of love" the gal at the window told us), thick milkshakes (offered in a dozen or more flavors), and crispy fries . . . just like we used to get at the Mom & Pop drive-in in the tiny town where we grew up. Located just across the street from the middle and high schools (and named for the High School mascot) this little joint has been in business for years. There is limited seating and even more limited parking - but the food makes up for any inconvenience this may cause. The drive thru window was efficient and very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

I was surprised that this little town place was pretty decent.
We ordered Almond Chicken, Chicken Curry and Chicken Broccoli. All were good, yes could have been a little better also. But we were fairly happy. My husband's Chicken curry had too much green pepper and nor enough chicken but the fried rice we all had with the lunch deals was great. This place for lunch at $6.25 average for a combination is an awesome price.
