Cozy, but busy brewpub with 75 seats and 10 rotating taps. Fresh menu of mostly pizzas that change seasonally. House beer & soda along with guest wine/cider available. Kitchen closes 1 hour before the bar. 21+ only. Must show valid ID.
Even though this restaurant/brewery has been open for awhile, I did not go, assuming that while the beer was probably good, the food would be strictly fried bar food. Oh, so wrong! The salads and pizza were sooooo good. I was pleasantly surprised. Also glad to have outdoor dining on a nice sunny day!

Upscale food but casual atmosphere located in the middle of the motels off 80/90 toll road. From hand pattied burgers to black angus sirloin and filet mignon. Walleye, lake perch, blue gill and salmon to a full sushi bar! 20 beers on tap specializing in local hand crafted micro brews. Great little wine list. It's where the locals and the business travelers meet. Great bar atmosphere!
Chubby Trout is FANTASTIC! The Zander (walleye) is always wonderful with a nice sweet taste. Sushi rolls are good but be prepared for a long wait on busy nights. It’s it quite that same sushi as you would get in Chicago but it is still very good. I LOVE the fish tacos, either the striper or the bam bam shrimp. Gotta try this place!

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margaritas. Treat your family and friends to a night at Texas Roadhouse.
The place was busy on a Sunday evening, but we were seated promptly. Salads were good as always, freshly prepped so specific ingredients could be removed (such as eggs); the red-french dressing is a fave. Iced tea was rather weak, and served in such large glasses it watered down quickly. Refills were a bit late in coming, but the server was friendly and obviously trying to keep up with the crowd. Rolls as expected (yum).
Steak was prepared as desired (medium rare) and baked potatoes were well done. The ribs were somewhat disappointing; they had reasonable flavor, but did not fall off the bone, became tough toward the end, and needed more sauce.
Music volume was appropriate; games were on the tv's; restrooms were clean. Would return, but would not order the ribs, which lowered my review from 4 to 3.

The Vine is a warm and welcoming venue right in the heart of downtown Elkhart. Elkhart Natives Jeanne and Tom Kern took over operations November 1, 2016 and are breathing new life into this establishment. They hired Executive Chef Brian Caplinger from Port Huron, Michigan. Chef brings years of experience to Main St. You will find fabulous features nightly, hand cut steaks, Wild Caught Salmon and so much more. Stop in and see what's new at The Vine!<br>Closed on all major holidays.
The food and service at the Vine is very reliable, which is hard to find in our little town. Salmon is delicious and the bartender makes the perfect martini.Thank you Mary. Consistency is key to success. We have worked very hard to turn this restaurant around. See you soon!

My sister took me to Artisan for my birthday. We got the salmon with a really good salad and wine. The salmon and broth it was in was really good. The salad was fresh and had a good variety of veggies and good dressing. The service was really good too!

Great food and value for the money. Only thing not crazy about is the garlic bread--Would rather have a roll nut the Filet-always wonderful . Cal ahead seating is the best!

Visited Antonio’s for the first time and it was outstanding. My wife is Italian and a retired chef. When she says it’s good, it has to be good.
Antonio’s is a very Italian restaurant so don’t plan on ordering American fare food. Everything we had was very Italian from the antipasto, to the spaghetti, meatballs and sausage and chicken parmigiana. The bread they served reminded me of what my mother-in-law made from scratch. Finally, the tiramisu we had was second only to what my wife makes, that means it was excellent.
We will definitely by coming back to Antonio’s the next time we visit Elkhart.

We stopped into Callahan's Restaurant for a very late meal after passing it on our way to our hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The pancakes with fresh banana was very good but the coffee was lukewarm at best. Grumpy loves buffalo wings and has had them in numerous restaurants all over the country. When he left some uneaten on his plate, I knew something was off. They were meaty and cooked well but the sauce was closer to being straight hot sauce instead of being buffalo style. He compared it to wings you would get at a 7-11. This restaurant absolutely would have gotten four stars due to the staff and the pancakes but was dropped down to three due to the almost cold coffee and the "so-so" wing sauce. We will have to come back to try their food again. I am sure we won't be disappointed.

Went for the steak and tater special. Was informed when ordering our food that we HAVE to order a beverage other than water. We're not pop drinkers and now we were basically being forced to purchase something we didn't want because we wanted to order your advertised special....not ok! I ended up ordering a vodka and redbull. Received my bill and was shocked at my total. Almost $14 for 2 SMALL DRINKS. Apparently they charge per redbull can.
1. I feel my waitress should have told me that when i ordered it!
2. If you're going to charge a customer for a redbull can then they should get the full can!
3. There is no way in hell you used more than 1 redbull for both of my drinks...so where's my other can you charged me for?!
NEVER AGAIN!!! Beware of their hidden fees, parking stinks, food was just ok, Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Dad's Place!!!

Bistro fare with a Mediterranean flair. Perfect for a quiet lunch, evening out, group dinner or a nice nightcap. Delicious martinis, craft and mainstream beers on tap and an extensive wine list help to enhance your dining experience. Allow us to be your Perfect 10 for dinner, drinks and dessert!
Popped in here for a late lunch on Saturday around 2pm. Sat at the bar and had great service. Many items to choose from. Salads, burgers, apps, dinners and sandwiches. Apps range in price from $8-$14 and include crab cakes, bruchetta, hummus, edamame, ahi and much more. Salads include, ceaser, greek, cobb, heart city, spinach, millionaire and several others. Clam chowder on Fridays.
They even have combo meals.
Burgers and sandwiches include, vegan, elk, plum tasty, byo, dagwood, gyro just to name a few and range from $9-$12, except $18 for Elk.
Steaks and chops from $18 and up. Includes Bison, NY strip, pork chops, filet and so on. Paste, chicken and fish all on their too.
Hubby picked a burger and I got a special order of a mini wedge salad and grilled chicken wrap. They had several microbrew that we tried. When the meal came, his burger was huge. Perfectly cooked, no grease dripping off like other places. Onion rings on top with mushrooms and bacon. Tasty chips on the side too.
My wedge salad with homemade dressing was very good. The wrap was on a spinach tortilla, loaded with chicken, spinach, cheese, tomato and a to go box. Way too much for one meal. I has an iced tea and he had a couple micro beers. All together the bill was under $40. Quite in line with other similar meals plus my wrap warmed up nicely the next day for lunch. We decided to book a date for a volunteer luncheon in April. They were quite accommodating with their menu for me and I'm excited to go back.
Side note, they have a "family section" so under 21 are welcome.
Take a look at their menu and check it this place. I've heard "hidden gem" as a description and totally agree.
