My brother dragged me in to the place, I've never had Sushi before. I was very surprised by the great food. I wasn't thrilled with the choice of draft beer that they had on tap but they had a good selection of bottled. The place was very clean and the service was great.

Every day they have different special breads besides their usual. We tried the bacon cheddar and it was out of this world! Long lines that move fast. Well worth the wait. They also make sandwiches. It is a steep stairs below the sidewalk, not handicapped accessible. It is not a restaurant and there is no table seating. I would make this a stop every time I'm passing through Elk River!

Family owned and operated neighborhood restaurant serving fresh food using locally sourced quality ingredients. Full menu, full bar, great wine selection and live music.
This restaurant is owned by a husband & wife team with lots of restaurant experience plus an extensive knowledge of wines. (The owners owned a California winery a number of years ago.) The menu selections are what you might expect downtown in a major city, but this restaurant is located in Otsego, a small town on the Mississippi River. They serve small plates (appetizers), medium plates (great burgers and salads) or large plates (dinners, including a top-notch steak. And the staff can offer excellent recommendations for wine pairings. If you are visiting from out of town, a visit to Pour will be one of your highlights.

The Caribou on Freemont next to Office Max is the best Caribou in town. Great atmosphere, wonderfully cheerful barista that will make your coffee will all the special requests.

We stop here with our kids every couple of months and we're never disappointed. The kids that work here do a great job with service and preparing the ice cream.

Cute pizzeria located in Elk River's historic downtown. Their super hot pizza oven creates a wonderful crispy, chewy crust. They offer both traditional and creative toppings, plus a good selection of tasty salads. Counter service is fast and friendly. Ordering advice..... If you like your pizza crispy, don't get too many toppings. One or two plus the cheese is best.

Visited Rockwoods for their thanksgiving buffet. I was excited about the vegetables but the Brussel sprouts only looked great, as the were hard....Needed more minutes in the oven. The proper utensils were not available and ready to serve the food even though many “helpers” stood around talking. Later, I asked staff what the desserts were and the flavors. She said really didn’t know. Hummm... Buffet was just ok.

coffee served HOT - very refreshing
food selections were very good - have had the bakery items, cinnamon roll looked great but was not fresh - must have been yesterdays. the cinnamon twist beside it was great!
breakfast sandwiches were very good
only negative - service is kind of slow, so if you are in a hurry..... maybe not the best choice

The dinner was with 5 people. The waiter came immediately with chips and salsa, and even a bowl of melted cheese for the kiddos to dip into. The adults ordered 16 oz margaritas, which were quite tasty, and soft drinks for the underage.
The server came again and took our orders when we were ready. The food came on very hot plates, and fairly quickly, but the pollo asado, enchiladas, and veggie enchilada was bland at best, and we used up the bottle of hot sauce on our foods. The children loved their American macaroni and cheese.
The prices were not too bad, so if you are looking for reasonable priced Mexican food, but not quite Mexican flavorful, then this would be a good place to go.
There is a Taco Bell across the street, which is even more reasonable, just not the variety of bland Mexican food.

Whether it's Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner this is a great place to grab a bite to eat! Just about anything you order off their menu is pretty tasty (I recommend the Grand Slamwich for breakfast it's delicious!). This establishment is clean & cozy with an interesting American inspired decor (we enjoy the variety of intruguing photos from the past on the walls). The staff are very attentive, friendly & approachable. If you're looking to get a good meal & a decent deal, Denny's is the place for you!
