Flip Cafe is our favorite foods made with love for you. It is a 60 seat cafe that employs a group of hard working, food loving, people pleasing individuals. We do our best to serve great fresh scratch food the best way we know how. :)
The cafe recently started having evening meals. They have created unique meals & prepared very well! Scallops over risotto- wonderful! Other entrees: beef tips, gaspacho & garlic mussels, bangers & mash,Tikka marsala chicken. Wished I could have eaten them all. Menu changes each week. Can't wait til next week! Go eat here-you won't be disappointed!

Nice atmosphere and on a wet and snowy day they still managed to keep the place clean. Friendly and welcoming staff and the chairs by the fireplace were a nice touch.

Stopped by here after lunch to grab a couple of soft ice-cream cones. What a joy! This place has been in Edinboro for decades, and the ice cream stays just as good as the first day it opened - probably even better. There is no inside seating; it is a flash to the past - drive up, order your ice cream, and then sit in your car or on the curb and enjoy the dessert!

We ordered a hoagie and a calzone. Both were delivered still warm and delicious. I reheated the calzone a day later and it was still fresh and tasty. This was a perfect lunch option while at an indoor track meet!

It's a nice independent coffee shop. Worth a visit while in town. During the summer they have bands perform on the lawn.

The best bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, and soup. Great variety of bagels and cream cheese. Reasonably priced. Awesome Green mountain coffee. New delicious item: end of day bagels are made into bagel chips a la supermarket name brands, and they are delish! Even the sweet ones, which would be so good with a peanut butter dip, etc...

A nice restaurant with the feeling of being at home. An expansive menu that features mac-n-cheese (try one of the chef's creations or have it any way you want), good burgers and sandwiches, as well as fish, steaks and ribs. Good beer selection that includes many local brands. Roomy dining area as well as a neat dining area in a trolley car.

This restaurant is only open in the summer months but the ambiance (on the shore of Edinboro Lake) is wonderful, especially if you're there at sunset (thus the name). It's open-air but does have shelter from the sun and breeze. The food is good and portions are ample. The menu consists of salads, burgers, wraps & sandwiches and they have a bar and live music on weekends. A very popular spot, especially on weekends.

This is a friendly bar and grill that has great food and service. We've gone while visiting the Highland Games at Edinboro U the last two years and have found The Empty Keg consistent. We felt comfortable there with our two teenage daughters. They have lots of varieties of burger on the menu (including veggie burgers) which we heartily enjoyed. They also have excellent chili and soup. Drink prices daily. They have one pool table for 21 and up only. The locals are very friendly. The only negative is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. All prices are reasonable, better than average selection of beer.

I reviewed it but it was only listed under Meadville, PA - There is one in Edinboro, PA.
I have never given a terrible rating before, and I feel bad doing it, but this place is terrible. I was completely misled by the reviews on this site. The menu is strange, the food came out suspiciously fast. I had a quesadilla that seemed to have been made with American cheese. My friends didn't eat their meals, which were fajitas with a strange cheesy sauce. The chips were stale and the salsa watery. Forget being authentically Mexican, this meal wasn't edible.
