My family and I had our Christmas Eve dinner here. The food was delicious and plentiful. Service was very good and the prices reasonable. We especially enjoyed the antipasta, the mussels, the seafood salad and the calamari. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We would return for a comfortable Italian meal.

Old Fashioned Goodness! We serve our own Homemade Flavors and Giffords Ice Cream from Maine.
We discovered this little ice cream place on Mother's Day this past May. We'd just had breakfast & once we noticed this ice cream place we couldn't resist as they had very interesting flavors. We now go there just for the ice cream, sometimes we'll have breakfast around the corner & then go straight for the ice cream thereafter, delicious !

WOW!!! We went to NY for two days and desperately wanted "real" Italian. We didn't find it there, so I searched for somewhere we could stop at on our way home to Maryland. It was GREAT! I had the tricolor pasta which had eggplant, "pink" sauce, and roasted red peppers. It was AMAZING!! Seriously one of the BEST pasta dishes I have ever had. The fresh mozzarella on the top was SO GOOD. I couldn't believe how good it was. My husband had the ziti and a side of the meatballs. He loved them both (he won't stop raving about the meatballs!). The servings were huge and there was so much sauce (which is so important!). We also had the garlic knots. On top of that, everyone was so friendly and the place was beautiful inside. I wish we had Italian like this in Maryland! Two thumbs up! Seriously - stop here!! (And as a vegetarian, I had a lot of variety to choose from.) :)

Once you get within a block of this place, you can already smell that you're in for something good. When you walk in the front door, you are always warmly greeted by staff, very often by Chef Morgan himself. The restaurant is nicely apportioned, but unassuming; welcoming with not even a hint of pretentiousness. They let the food do the talking here, and it speaks volumes.
The hot wings and jerk chicken are always top notch, and you'll never go wrong with either. This afternoon I opted for an old favorite, though: oxtails. Stewed in a wonderfully flavorful sauce and simmered for hours, they are tender and fall off the bone good. A small Styrofoam container was packed with the good stuff, as well as rice & cabbage, plantains and cornbread. At $13, a slightly indulgent lunch, but terrific value for what you're getting. Of course, no trip to Morgan's is complete without picking up a few patties for the road as well. I grab two, one for my wife and one for me as a late night snack. A few minutes in the toaster oven bring them right back to life after being refrigerated.
Morgan's is a family run eatery done right. There's clearly love put into all of the recipes that come out of the kitchen. While not Caribbean by heritage, I do love the food, and Morgan's does it as good as or better than everyone else around.

Our Mission Statement By partnering with local growers, our mission is to secure the best, freshest, local, organic-when-possible, ingredients to cook for our customers. Our menu will change regularly to reflect what's best in each season. We have a simple menu for a reason. Instead of purchasing dried pasta, we start with flour and eggs to make our pasta from scratch. Instead of purchasing frozen gnocchi, we peel the potatoes to make our own, fresh, light-and-fluffy, gnocchi. Our chefs create beautiful dishes with flavor that can only come from a recent harvest. When we are unable to secure a local ingredient, we will communicate that to our customers. With the umbrella heading of a farm-to-table restaurant, our chefs are free to create dishes that cross into different ethnic cuisines. However, the majority of our meals are influenced by Italian and American tastes. To celebrate the local community, we also host live music, art exhibitions and meet-the-farmer events. Stop in and say hello!

This is the new kid on the Diner block in the greater Princeton area and they are going for the gold. Friendly service, high quality diner fare. The burger was cooked perfectly, the Turkey wrap was fresh and flavorful, the Mexican omelette was a monster. And I love that each table gets, not bread, but a plate of tasty garlic knots. Town is giving all the nearby diners a run for their money.

Busy time of year and I've needed to grab something quickly on the way home from work and before evening activities. Capuano always has a great assortment of pizzas available to grab and go. One night meat, the next night veggie, whole wheat crust some times.
