My sister insisted we visit this off the wall location to have some BBQ. I was not thrilled about visiting a gas station based food joint but I went with it to see if it would measure up. To my surprise it was fantastic, probably one of the best BBQ places I have been to in a long time, probably the best period.
Great service, out of this world food. We did a take out with brisket, ribs and some sides. All were very satisfying with great taste and generous portions. If you have an itch for some great BBQ you really owe it to yourself to try this out, well worth the drive!

Adorable, old school, ice cream and candy shop- very nostalgic! Sundaes are served in tall glass dishes, very throwback!

I had a chicken/avocado sandwich on flaxseed bread- the bread is ALWAYS good here. The sandwich was good lunch fare. My friend had a a salad with chicken…..it looked and tasted a bit "blah"……not much subtlety or many flavors, just okay. Try those molasses cookies and sample the other really great baked goods here.

Located in a fully restored historic building, this coffee shop/café uses only organic, locally grown products. They offer breakfast all day and lunch with a menu that changes every Wednesday. If you are a vegetarian, you will like the options available. You can also purchase items to take home from their produce counter.

Stopped by for a lunch date with my kids. The portion side of the gyro was huge! I didn't need dinner that night. The kids meal was well liked by my son. I was impressed by the cleanliness and employees walking around tidying up.

New American comfort food with an international twist. Ivan's is just a short hallway away from East Troy House, Wisconsin's oldest tavern (est. 1836). Located on East Troy's historic town square.
Not only was lunch tasty, the service was a good balance of attentiveness and being non-intrusive. Did you know that the community of East Troy was established because horses pulling wagons could not go from Janesville, WI to Milwaukee in one day? East Troy is the half way mark. That is what we learned from our server. And it was half way for my friend and me. It was the half-way mark for us.
The restaurant is located in a building ripe with history. You can learn more on the restaurant website and when you visit. It's located on a quaint town square.

What a fantastic find! Healthy organic food, beautiful presentation, great prices, charming decor, right on the town square - what more could you ask for? I was with friends and we were looking for a great breakfast/brunch place in little East Troy. Skeptical that we'd find ANYTHING - we were beyond overjoyed to discover this wonderful eatery right on the town square. It would be worth driving from Milwaukee just to enjoy a meal here!!!!! They also have a full coffee bar, desserts, and also, organic produce, gourmet packaged foods and condiments and more! The staff is exceptional!!!!!!! Highly recommended!

I have eaten at a similar place in Delavan and the food did not disappoint. The server was good but took a little bit to get the food. Nice people and good portions. The menu also allowed for options including a place that when you ask for hot/spicy they don't stop short of the delivery. A good stop for some Spanish food.

Ordered off the senior menu and I had the Turkey dinner with a baked potato, salad, Turkey, dressing and mixed veggies and food was ok but very small portions other than the potato. Husband had the roasted pork dinner, barely warm soup, veggies and baked potato from senior menu and once again small portions other than the potato. Cracker/roll basket had crackers with opened packages and most were broken into pieces and rolls were cold. Dessert of slices of apple pie were small, tasteless and ice cold. Senior dinners cost $6.95 but would rather have paid more and got more food. Server was friendly and accommodating but this restaurant needs to improve its quality and quantity of food. Probably won't return as we live 30 miles away and not worth the trip.

Great Prime Rib! The fish my man got was not the best as we expected! Prices are very decent for the portion you get. Super disappointed because it was his birthday and as well as our one year anniversary! There was no cake nothing! But our waitress was great.
