I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! So many flavors, so little time, and the kids who wait on you are always polite and helpful! I like to think Huell Howser still haunts the place with his big smile and wonderful charisma!!!

NBC has been around for a while in Monterey Park as a place for Chinese style seafood and dim sum. It used to be a dark and unfriendly place over 10 yrs ago and I was pleasantly surprised to see a remodeled and bright/open space with plenty of parking. Food is just as delicious - but this place is one of the pricier places in Monterey Park. The waiting system is also super efficient - they assign you a number that is shown on a tv screen when your table is ready

La Azteca had been an icon in east la. For out of this world handmade tortillas to awesome burritos. They're huge! My favorite is the chili relleno burrito and the carnitas. Don't forget to take home some fresh tortillas while you're at it. The place is very small maybe a dozen seats. Most take out. It's really busy at lunch and after work. Best burritos in Los Angeles.

The coffee was good, but the time to be served and receive your coffee was long we waited twenty three minutes from the time we walked in and when we walked out with our takeaway coffee. The staff didn't seem particular happy today.

Authentic French bakery pastry store, cafe & bistro, featuring savory & sweet treats, easy to eat and affordable, with the highest quality of ingredients. EVERYTHING is made fresh on site daily, even yogurt! The largest choice of pastries, morning pastries & bread in LA! Also sandwiches, salads and tartines are amazing! Many French regional specialties to discover and found nowhere else... Pitchoun is also a wine store and bistro. Pick among over 80 niche wines & 20 craft beers, to enjoy on site or to go... it's the same price!! Happy hour night and wine tasting event once a month.
We stayed down the street and ate breakfast here several times. You will not find better pastry...anywhere. The croissants were perfect; the savory breads were delicious, and the apricot tart was memorable. They also serve a beautiful cup of coffee and have outdoor seating.

This is a huge, beautiful banquet facility on Atlantic Blvd., in Monterey Park. I really liked the dim sum and the prices were very reasonable. It is very noisy and hard to hear the conversation at your table. We arrived after the first wave of carts went through the dining room so we got what was left and it took a long time before more carts with our favorites appeared again from the kitchen. That being said, it is a good value.

I'm not a pastrami fan but the hubby is so we tried The Hat from a recommendation from a cousin who loves pastrami sandwiches. We might have over expected our experience as we were disappointed to only like the sandwich. There's a lot of meat but it's not very juicy and you still need to dip it in the au jus. We ordered the Pastrami Dip and Roast Beef with dip but only 1 small container came with our order which did not seem sufficient to make our meats moist enough. Maybe they already dipped the meats in the au jus like other shops do but it still wasn't juicy enough if they did so. The servings were quite big and we did not finish our orders, especially the Chili Fries which is really a lot. Best to bring a buddy to share your order.

Mexican, Mariscos, & Steak house. Comfy booths and family style table seating. Classy lighting and dinner table cloths. Margarita bar with live music nightly.
Stopped on whim. Definitely would come back. XX Amber on tap My favorite. Very nicely decorated. Salsa was great. Verde sauce that was great. Ask for it otherwise you get std red sauce. Love it & haven't got food yet
Ok food as excellent as expected.
