We met our daughter and son in law in this restaurant the other night and was quite impressed. The folks there were very friendly, the atmosphere was great. They have a great outside eating area. The food was really good and our waitress Detria (sp?) was very good. We will definitely go back there.

This isn’t a restaurant, it’s a bakery storefront. It’s a small town so the variety is understandably limited. That said, the quality of what you get is excellent and the donuts are not the least bit greasy! On the morning we visited there were about 9 varieties of donuts/crullers/bismarcks — not bad for a small store — and all three of the varieties we tried were as good a donut was we’ve had. Worth a stop if you want something sweet for breakfast.

Excellent thin crust pizza.
Now I like pizza, typically Chicago or New York or Boston style. I like deep dish as well as regular crust. But this is a great thin crust. Definitely worth stopping for if you are in the area.
The Barn has very limited days and hours of operation so call or check their website before going.
Pizza is made in the wood fired oven. Menu includes a small selection of beers and wines and soft drinks. Place your order when you enter and it is delivered to your table. Some inside seating but mostly outside.
Save room for dessert because it is rich and creamy ice cream. Don't ask about ingredients or calorie count, assume it is non fat and no calories. It is very good.
The Barn is a few miles off the beaten path but well worth the trip.

Another bar recommended this place for the food.9 other people there already served.very nice bartender but slow as can be!!!!! Told her we would take the food to go but she put it on a plate.couldn't find the food we ordered.always distracted with something else because she was the only worker there.will never go back.

Beautiful deck, great view of the Chippewa River. Nice and attentive bar tender. Old School, classic Wisconsin Bar. Good burger too.

Same food here as elsewhere.. I did find the vanilla cone cost more here than in Milwaukee ! When your traveling you know what to expect. This store shares a space with a gas station. You can get gas with your gas.

My husband and I like supporting local business and went here for the nostalgia of a drive in although we knew our bellies wouldn't thank us.
We had a coney island hotdog, devil burger (pepperjack cheese, jalapenos, bacon), onion rings, grasshopper cyclone (blizzard shake). The hotdog and bacon seemed to maybe have been precooked and reheated - bacon was dry and hotdog skinny and looked funny, lol. Doughy white bread. I only expected the devil burger to be slightly hot, which it was. $12. Same quality from only other drive in I've eaten at, just more selection.
We didn't get sick or anything, just a bit junkfood dumpy feeling and some indigestion as expected. It was worthy, I suppose in a fun way. The server did come to our car to see if we wanted food and when we asked if we were supposed to come to counter, she said most people do. She was nice and all about it though.
Dont forget to tip !

We have not eaten there for some time since the last one we bought was horrible. We ordered a large pizza and when we picked it up it was stuffed into a medium box with our edges rolled over on top of the rest of the pizza, The pizza was only about 1/2 baked and the crust was doughy. We were so angry when we picked it up and looked at it, we just took it and have not returned. Our dog would not even eat it since it was so doughy. They always claim they have a family recipe for the sausage--but they really need to add some seasoning to the sausage because it did not have any flavor--very bland
