With NASCAR at the Speedway, harness racing at Dover Downs, 10 nationally recognized museums, plus historical attractions galore, it's easy to see why the capital of Delaware is a great weekend destination. Check out the world's largest cargo plane, stationed at Dover Air Force Base, or explore the beginnings of recorded sound at the Johnson Victrola Museum. It's the perfect time to visit the Biggs Museum of Art, which is running a special exhibition to celebrate its 10th anniversary. "Artful Living: the Legacy of Sewell C. Biggs" features fine and decorative art gems from the private collection of the local patron and museum namesake. Also worth a visit: the Delaware Agricultural Museum and the John Dickinson Plantation, where staff, dressed in period costume, explain and reenact life in the late 18th and 19th centuries. Round out the day with a meander around Green and Loockerman Streets downtown. Lined with historic Colonial and Victorian buildings, plus specialty book, candle and jewelry stores, it's a great place to shop or sample the local fare at a neighborhood cafe or restaurant.

We went because of the reviews and were disappointed with the pizza. We ordered a large with split halves since we wanted different things. They were cooperative in doing that. It was hard to cut and the pieces were large. The dough was disappointing. We also wanted gelato which came in just 2sizes—3 scoops or one scoop. Although we ordered large, we each got 2 scoops. We may have been overcharged for it. Service was good at the beginning, but we had trouble getting our server’s attention when we were finished. Finally he came and took our dessert order. We asked for the check then as it was taking so long.

Very different menu, especially compared to others I saw in the area. Was disappointed that they were out of the Cheesesteak egg roll appetizer but it was half price appetizer night. I had a delicious entree of grilled Rockfish with crab, yummy smashed potatoes and asparagus that was out of this world! Ask for a Cucumber martini that was not too sweet but strong and they got it perfect. Service was very friendly but a little slow. Lots of people seem like regulars and we're very friendly as well. Will definitely go back when I'm back in the area!

We came here on a Tuesday, to less than a full house. Seated quickly greeted immediately. Wife opted for the seafood bisque, while I tried the "fire roasted" shrimp for appetizers. She loved her's. Mine was OK. Her Maryland crab cakes were fresh and flavorful, but the price made them "not a bargain." My honey bourbon salmon was cooked fine, but there just wan't a lot of it. Alcohol prices were reasonable.
Our first experience here must have spoiled us, as this visit did not leave an "amazing" feeling in us. For some reason, the relationship of portions and prices seems to have changed. Just my opinion.

I am requesting that you add a Vegan burger called the Impossible burger to your menu.It looks like a burger, and it even bleeds like a burger. The Impossible Foods Inc. burger that’s become the darling of world-renowned chefs and gourmet chains is now heading for the cafeteria.

This is a special restaurant hidden in Dover. A small restaurant that one could easily pass by if you aren't looking for food of India. Thank you Trip Advisor for the suggestion. Everything and I mean everything I tasted was seasoned to perfection. There is something for every taste! I live in Milton Delaware now and will be returning to Flavor of India again. You won't be disappointed. The experience is delightful and the flavor mouth watering! Don't let the small restaurant and location fool you; it's sooo good!

I am on an endless search for the best barbecue and Mission BBQ (a chain) knocks it out of the park and then some! Incredible Brisket, sides, Pulled Pork, and dessert! The staff is unbelievably friendly, efficient and makes sure you are happy. They pay an extra special tribute to law enforcement service and history here (decor). I live an hour from here and make the trip without thinking twice. Outstanding!

The restaurant is actually located in Camden, De but has a Dover mailing address - it is a new restaurant, a month or 2 old.
Piazza Mia is a pleasant surprise of a family Italian Restaurant just down the road from Walmart in Camden. Have returned here numerous times and the quality and service remain very good. I had the veal parmigiana and it was right on.

We had lunch here with a client and enjoyed the ambience and friendly service. My Strawberry Salad and Corn and Crab Chowder were really tasty. My colleagues enjoyed their burgers, tuna burger and sandwiches. Large bar area, should be a fun spot on the weekend nights. Lots of free parking at the strip mall.

Every time I go to Franco's, I leave full, satisfied, and asking myself why I don't go more often. Authentic scratch food is delicious and staff makes you feel like part of their family! Although it is tucked away in a strip mall, you will feel like you have walked into a bit of Italy and will not be disappointed with this meal!

Where Pigs Fly Celebrated 24 Years In Business On April 19, 2017. Thank You To All Of Our Customers!
The service was very good..the food was delicious. Highly suggest eating here. We hadn’t been there in awhile and it was as good as ever. The ribs are so good, the sweet potatoes and broccoli salad are a definite good choice. Not to mention the corn bread and loaf of bread being really good.
