The Food Terminal is a gathering place for food and fun with friends. I went with a group of friends, it was everyone's first experience. The atmosphere was lively with music and conversation. The food selection is vast..the menu is a magazine with pictures of the food which for us was helpful when ordering..I got Grandama BBQ (the name of the dish is not completely accurate). The dish was tasty. Don't waste your calories on the drinks..the teas and sodas were not good. Overall, I was pleased with my experience and will visit Food Terminal again in the very near future.

I love this place and have been here countless times. Very high quality authentic Malaysian food. Anything you order will be Yum Yum. Great service and quick to get the food out. My kids love the Roti. I wish they did serve beer but Oh well. I'll be back.

Driving home from Atlanta this morning we passed this bakery and decided to stop in for breakfast. We have seen this bakery for years and finally stopped by and we are so glad that we did. Spacious, clean, well laid out with great breakfast sandwiches (which my wife and I both had) and great tasting bakery goods. Coffee was excellent. Amazing place, we will route our trips to stop by here as much as possible in the future.

Who doesn't enjoy an ice cream cone outdoors on a hot day? They also have no sugar added options which are good.

We waited for about 10 minutes which was not long for as busy as they were. The place is great, normal seating but also seating around the sushi bar. If you are looking for foofoo american style sushi do not come here. If you are looking for the most amazing fresh fish Atlanta has to offer, this is the place. We ordered up several different items, we wanted to try everything on the menu, so many good option. We finally settled on seawead salad, the chicken on a stick (salted), a platter of random sashimi. All were great. For our dinner we ordered the Chefs Special Shashimi Bowl and rainbow roll. Wow everything from the ginger to every piece of fish was as fresh as I have ever tasted. Great place a date or to go have some drinks and a meal with friend. Wonderful staff, very helpful and attentive, atmosphere is on point. This is our new favorite place and will frequently here often.

Our experience was mixed. First the good: we had the white pizza and it was very good.
Now the bad: service has subpar. They have a sign "wait to be seated", so we stood waiting for a long while, note, there were only 2 tables taken inside and no one else waiting. Finally a waiter told us from across the room to sit anywhere.
Then it was another wait for the menu, and another wait for him to come get the order. The pizza arrived quite fast.
And lastly, when we were done I had to get up and call the waiter to get the check.
Sorry, but a good restaurant not only needs good food, but also good service. Hence the 3 stars.

Housed in a building from the last 1800s, Southbound offers diners creative southern comfort food in a casual atmosphere. Great for a quick burger, a romantic date night, or a large celebration, Southbound is an inviting neighborhood hang-out.
Southbound is near my office and is a frequent lunch destination for my co-workers and I. It has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta but it seems to have really gone downhill in the last three months or so.
We went for a group lunch in October 2017. A co-worker of mine had a bill that came to $16.25 and she gave a $20 and asked for change back. The waitress came back with $3.00. My friend stopped and told her that she should actually be getting $3.75 back. The waitress told her that when cash was involved, it was the restaurant policy to round numbers. So, that's a weird policy. If you want people to pay $17.00, that is what you should bill them for. And if you are rounding, wouldn't you round down to the nearest dollar instead of up? It wasn't the money so much as the principle of the thing and the fact that the waitress was kind of witch about it.
Then I went back again in December 2017 for a holiday party. The service was terrible. It took almost 25 minutes to get our drink order taken. One friend had the Cuban sandwich and sent it back because it was so burned. I had the brisket. It was burned to a crisp. I probably should have sent it back but we had been there over an hour at this point so I just ate my fries and let it go.
A few days later in December I met another friend for dinner. Again, the service was really slow and we never got drink refills. The music was so loud that we could hardly hear each other. I had the veggie plate which was average and once again the cornbread was burned to a crisp.
I hope the management reads these comments and moves to restore Southbound to the dining treasure that it once was.

Other reviews are very accurate. My brother and I met here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The spaghetti and meatballs were an ample serving and went well with the big yeast rolls. The rolls however were cold and we were told there was no butter. I had a cup of beef barley vegetable soup. The soup was tasty but the veggies were the frozen type etc the carrot. I know because I got the top of one of them. Plastic utensils and obviously paper goods. The oldies music was great but we had to move to three different booths to find the least grimy one. The daily special is posted. For $3.99 each day a different sandwich is listed along with a soup or something as well. Check the poster! I would go back for an informal fast meal.

My wife and I stopped by Hopstix yesterday for lunch, our second visit to this wonderful little oddball Asian Restaurant/Brewery. What a weird mix! But it works! The food here is terrific and certainly not boring. The house-brewed beers are superlative, and the service couldn't be better. And this is a very inexpensive place for what you get. My wife had the Dumpling Salad, which is a lovely dish as well as delicious, chicken filled oriental dumplings on a bed of mixed greens, with garlic soy dressing. She loved it. And so did I! Yes, she did give me a little tiny taste. For my lunch, I chose two appetizers (because I try to avoid vitamins), the fried wings in sweet spicy chili sauce and the fried oysters. These sweet, hot wings rank up near the top of my list for wings, and the fried oysters are way better than the average as well. And my wife and I each enjoyed one of the Hopstix Brewery's delicious house-brewed draft beers, ales actually. My wife had the Trackside American Pale Ale, and I had the Goldline American Blonde Ale. Couldn't be better! And our bill came to $42.80! What a deal!

Had a craving last Wednesday and went, but they are closed on Wednesdays! Went today and the place was packed. You know it has to be good when predominately there are Asians eating there.
Servings were generous and tasty. Had the pork pan fried dumplings and orange chicken. Excellent and had plenty to take home!
