While Valley Cafe & Catering is not new to Dillard, we are now in a new, larger location. In our new location we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. We have a spacious main dining room with great mountain views and a private dining room that can accommodate parties of up to 70. Located in a former bank, we have utilized the vault as a whimsical wine cellar and the dining room walls are lined with historical photos of the area. The menu is varied and reasonably price.
Good Food and Service. We ate a Wonderful Breakfast this morning. Great value for all and coffee wad really good.

Told about Porters coffee by a friend in Dillard and took a wander inside. Oh no! Another antique shop amongst the many already scattered over the area- let's see about the coffee though…
The coffee bar is a minimal affair and you would be forgiven for thinking that you had answered into the wrong shop, not too much on display in way of cookies or cakes either. However - the coffee is the star. I think it might be home roasted as it is certainly looked after by an enthusiast, I can describe it like a cold brewed coffee but freshly made - absolutely smooth as a baby's behind. Well done that man - now add some more cookies, cakes and such to boost the presence, the coffee is sorted.

Had a great breakfast in this small restaurant. Good value and good service. While off the beaten path, they seem to serve quite a few customers as their parking lot showed quite a bit of activity.

I love this barbecue and we grab lunch here every time we pass by when they are open! We always get the pork sandwich and there is enough meat in it to feed 3 people, it is liberally sauced and has plenty of burnt ends mixed in. It is delicious!! I only wish they were open every day!! If you are going through Mountain City, stop at Osage Produce and drive over to the far side where the Tomlin's BBQ trailer is and try some of the best barbecue around!!

You can find it online. They sell ice cream, milk, cheese and eggs.
We have been going here for over 10 years. Kids always loved the ice cream. Now they are grown and off at College. Our oldest is back and this was one of his first stops. I got the malt and forget how good Spring Ridge Creamery was for "real" ice cream. Made right here in Western NC, this family owned business has been consistently great milk, ice cream and butter. My wife granny purchased their butter milk for years for cornbread. Pictures is the Chocolate Malt.

We had an excellent meal at Annette's Cafe. Tenderloin, real mashed potatoes (fried potatoes for my wife) and pinto beans. Topped it off with fantastic desserts, blackberry cobbler and butter pecan cake. GREAT VALUE

This review should have been written a long time ago. Vicki's is located inside the Rabun Gap Flea Market. I know. Not where you think to go for good food but you would be wrong. Not only do Vicki, Doyle, Allison, and crew put on one of the best spreads for a Friday night catfish buffet, they also have made to order breakfast and lunch anytime the market is open. Always friendly. Always delicious. You won't be disappointed!

We came to Clayton to pick up a new toilet (not available near home) and had to have lunch before heading home. We've tried other good restaurants in town and wanted something new and ended up here. We arrived just in time and got a table and finally chose a pizza. Everything sounded good, but we finally decided. The pizza was wood fired and really good. It was prepared quickly and arrived before too long. I would eat here again
