We absolutely LOVE the Bar-B-Q at Dexter Bar-B-Q. Atmosphere is friendly, soft serve ice cream is a treat, and the food is great! I can't imagine eating better bbq anywhere. Price is very reasonable and portion size is just right. We plan to come back regularly. We highly recommend!

I grew up in Dexter and Faye's has always been a landmark known for great donuts...especially the glazed if you get them while they're still warm. Last time I went here, it was very early in the morning...when you would expect the pastries to be at their best. I was a little disappointed to find the pastries had shrunk in size quite a bit and just didn't have the same famous goodness as when I was a kid. I know the place has changed owners a couple of times. Don't get me wrong, though. It was still good, just not like it used to be.

Several of us got together for a bike ride. Hickory Log Restaurant was on our things to do list. Delicious ribs with homemade sides. Great food and service. We all had a really good time!

My husband's family is from Dexter, MO. They have eaten at Leon's since it's opening. Now, it is our tradition to go there whenever we visit or within a reasonable driving distance. We always get sandwiches to go to take home to the family and freeze for later. The sauce is OUTSTANDING! I have never found anything like it. We do order the sauce online or take some home with us. Our last visit there was great. They were super helpful and quick with our stay in pigs and take home pigs. Love this place!

In downtown Dexter the quaint Corner Stop Cafe is small but so welcoming. The two ladies working today were very pleasant & took care of us quickly. I had the Reuben panini with cucumber pasta as a side—both very delicious. My husband had the chicken sandwich with cole slaw side—again very tasty. It sets across the street from a still operating Ben Franklin store, which is closed on Sunday (darn). Very nice downtown area, only wished it was a weekday so shops were open. Worth the stop, right off Highway 60.

We were travelling through Dexter and decided to stop here for lunch. We were glad we did. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I had the eggplant and my wife had a delicious flatbread. Both were well prepared and well served. If visiting or passing through Dexter give Morina's a try.

We stopped because of the ratings on TripAdvisor and were pleasantly surprised. We had the buffet and it was was very good. There was catfish, fried chicken, chicken &dumplings, salad bar, etc. we had only the catfish from the buffet, it was fresh out of the kitchen, and it was very good. A lot of people took chicken, we might try it next time we come through here. We are looking forward to coming back.

This is home cooking at its best! We stopped on our way through and someone just picked this place because it was busy! It had pork chops, meatloaf, chicken and fish. Salad bar was great and the gumbo was delicious! We will eat here again for sure!

We're "regulars" at this hometown cafe. They have good plate lunches during the week and a variety of short order menu items. The cheeseburgers are great! Try the peanutbutter pie, too!
The cafe is at the north end of the Dexter Airport. Saturday mornings when the weather is good, you'll get to see lots of airplanes coming and going! A fun place to eat!

This burger king always has smiling faces and excellent customer service. I've been to some in other towns who aren't always nice. The people working here are good people. The place is very clean. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone stopping by to eat in this town. It's right off the highway too.
