We are closed until Dec. 5th!<br>El El Frijoles, Mexican Food is a California-Style Taqueria in a converted barn in the woods. We serve delicious mexican food made from the freshest, local and organic ingredients, in a fantastic family-friendly environment. We are open all year, but if you are coming in the off-season, you should probably call us or at least check our website/FB page to see if we are open!
A one of a kind find spot, worth the drive off beaten path. Fantastic fresh Mexican food (think fresh corn tortillas, homemade salsas....street food...not heavy big Mexican dinners) Come ready to hangout as the grounds have lots of games. It's the kind of place you want to come back to - even if it's 2 hours out of your way!

Fine Dining, exclusively Organic or Local ingredients, Irish Pub, Bed and Breakfast. Open year round, daily in summer, 5 days a week November to May. Fresh Fish, 7 page wine list, Aged steak, our own desserts, Guinness on tap and local beers on tap. Pizza, burgers and nightly specials in the Pub...Full menu upstairs and down.
Was asked by the owner how the food was. Told him it was satisfactory, as it was. Was told that he has had 44 plus chefs in the decade he has been the owner and that he just cant find anyone to do a quality job. Strange thing to say to a customer.

Aragosta, meaning "lobster" in Italian, is presented by Chef Devin Finigan of Brooklin. Her farm-to-table cuisine features only the freshest and best quality meat, seafood and produce from local purveyors. Her love of Mediterranean and Italian cooking and the Maine coast come together for a beautiful menu of delicious food that is simply good. Guests will enjoy dishes like Chef Devin's specialty, butter-poached lobster ravioli, while overlooking the breathtaking views of Stonington Harbor. The kind, knowledgable staff will guide guests through the menu and thoughtful wine list to create a memorable dining experience. Join us for lunch on our beautiful deck as well, where Chef Devin has created a menu that puts an elegant twist on classic pub fare.
Our meals here were very good. We love Stonington and generally eat where the locals eat. But dinner here is special and we always try to go once. We had salmon and lobster tortellini, both very nicely prepared and filling. Good salads, dessert and wine. City atmosphere even on the harbor.
It is a great evening but know that you'll pay Boston prices and have a Boston-like experience.
Limited hours in off season. Check ahead.

Tasha's Take out, Driving Range and Mini- Golf Home of the world famous blueberry Ketchup, blueberry burger and blueberry meatball sub.
Tasha's is a Fast Food / Ice Cream / Mini Golf and Driving Range kind of place. We stopped just before closing time for ice cream. I was not familiar with Gifford's Ice Cream but was impressed with the choices. They have Maine Blueberry, Moose Tracks, Deer Tracks and more with a local twist as well as the usual suspects. We all thought the ice cream was terrific. Can't comment on the food but several folks were picking up food to go, they serve burgers, salads, sandwiches including lobster rolls and such. It is not really a sit down restaurant though they have an enclosed dining room if you choose not to eat at the picnic tables. Nice spot on the hill too!

There are more interesting and inviting places to dine along the coast of Maine then you can shake a lobster at. The Whales Rib is both interesting and inviting, and a highly recommended place to visit. The tavern is attached to the Pilgrims Inn, rather...MoreWe are so glad that you came in and had a good time in that wonderful nook in our bar area. It was fun to meet you and your family!

It's a coffee shop.
Maybe I shouldn't be reviewing 44 North Coffee because I don't like coffee, lol, but they have great iced tea (and my husband said their coffee was very good). And their pastries are THE best.
It's one of the few places we've found in this part of Maine that has a youthful, locals feel. The owners are great and so is the woman from New Zealand via France who waited on us.
Yes, we'll return to this really neat spot. So wish, however, that they served hot chocolate!

This is a new, nice general store. Not a lot of character, but it is really nice to have a store in town, instead of having to drive 10 miles. It's on the higher end side, but i like having the organic options and given the remote-ness of Brooklin it seems like the prices are okay. I bought some groceries and also coffee, muffins, and egg sandwiches for breakfast, all of which were great. There is a large selection of stuff so it seems like a great option for Brooklin.

My husband and I have been vacationing on Deer Isle for many years now. We've discovered this small restaurant over the bridge. It offers many food choices along with alcoholic beverages. The building is new and somewhat uninviting. I did enjoy the nautical theme. Larger windows might had been a better idea allowing more light in.
I ordered the haddock burger was very moist but disappointed in the amount of haddock. Other places on the island serve a whole filet of haddock and thinking a little expensive. To be charged $1.00 for American cheese is ridiculous. I would expect to pay that for the other cheeses just not this one. My husband had the prime rib which was ordered med well and came out very rare. Tried to send it back with the waitress but she seemed bothered so he decided to keep it. Maybe it was off night and we may try again another night.

We go to the Harbor Cafe several times while on our annual respite in Stonington. The food is reliable and good. Lobster rolls and whole lobsters are terrific. The roll is probably better value in that someone else does the work, the quantity and the price about the same. Also good haddock and other sea fare. We did not enjoy the Friday fish fry as much as in the past, but maybe it was an off night.
The few other restaurants in S'ton have variable schedules, with most not open Mon-Wed at best. It's great to have the HC open 7 nights/week.
Good wine list; nice people. And, it is a good way to support local employees in a village we all love. Thanks again to folks at the Harbor!! See you next year.
