We are a 'Wisconsin Supper Club' that features dry aged steaks and fresh seafood. Located in an historic landmark built in 1883 and has been run by the same family since 1918.
We knew of the restaurant's excellent reputation and our group of three couples was not disappointed. Our food was well prepared and the service was attentive.

Eclectic fun vibe with amazing food! Plenty of healthy fresh options to choose from. Sophisticated comfort food is the specialty. We also now specialize in primal diet dining. Wine list is fantastic and the service is outstanding. We pay attention to every detail.
I don’t understand the high ratings! This place is 100% a lunch spot, I convinced my fiancé to join me for dinner and he was so upset after we left. The lo carb options are tasteless, the prices are extremely high for what U get! If you order a steak for dinner, your side choices are grapes, mashed potatoes or chips WHAT? Yes, plz let me pay for a steak and I’ll take a side of grapes with that, unreal. So many other good places to go in GB! I know I’ll never convince my fiancé to go back.

Chef Driven: One thing we pride ourselves with is a great staff. We consider ourselves one big family. We have seen many of our employees start when they were 15 and grow up in the restaurant. We realize there is so much talent, passion and loyalty in our staff. Over the years, JR has learned new things, has had new ideas, and new styles that he has wanted to experiment with. Although, trying them on our customers at Chives Restaurant in Suamico was always ideal, it is difficult to change the menu when customers have grown to love certain signature items that we simply could not change. Bleu Restaurant and Lounge was an idea formed by JR Schoenfeld, and our son Nick Morse. The Chef: Bleu brings new talent to the area. Nick Morse is our Head Chef. Nick's passion for food blossomed several years ago. JR began taking Nick to work with him when Nick was 14 years old. He washed dishes, prepped food items, plated desserts and made pizzas. Since then, he has spent time as a Kitchen Manager, Line cook in Door County, Sous Chef at Chives Restaurant for 5 years and wanting to expand his knowledge of food, took a seasonal position for the summers of 2011 and 2012 at the Harbor View Hotel & Resort on Martha's Vineyard in Edgartown, Massachusetts. The Design: Wishing we could take credit for the beautiful interior design of Bleu, we owe Designs of the Interior on North Broadway in Green Bay all the credit. Old doors puzzled together on the ceiling were a challenge. JR spent all summer driving around the state of Wisconsin, sometimes knocking on doors of random farm houses asking to buy old doors. He loved being a "picker" in between designing the open concept kitchen and coordinating the construction.
All alone, off the beaten path you find this gem of a restaurant. A well put together restaurant with high caliber menu choices, mostly done very well.
Atmosphere is modern meets rustic. The ceiling is very cool, covered by doors. Comfortable tables, and an inviting bar area.
I had the caesar which was very good with heavily toasted buttery-garlic croutons. Just the right amount of dressing on chopped romaine. My wife had a roasted tomato soup that looked yummy, actually misread the menu and thought it was going to be potato, our fault but the type on the menu is pretty small so bring your readers. Steaks were ok, a bit overdone for us but we recognize the regional differences in what you get when you order medium rare. Mushroom ravioli was stellar, perfectly al dente with very flavorful filling.
The must have though, the bananas foster. Only one at the table really wanted it, but after a taste a near fist fight broke out, everyone scrambling to get more, until we were licking the plate clean. You must try it.
Waitress was very good. Attentive but never in the way, didn't catch her name. We'll be back, I hope. Dessert was worth the trip from Dallas.

Established in 1981, Nicky's Lionhead Restaurant is located right down in the heart of De Pere, Wisconsin, just a few blocks from the Fox River and St. Norbert College. We provide amazing service and excellent food in an environment you are sure to love! From scrumptious burgers, tasty Gumbo, to pizza and our signature sandwich The Garibaldi, Nicky's has a wide variety on the menu. We even have great appetizers like authentic Door County Cheese Curds! Take in all the beautiful woodwork while watching your favorite sports team on one of our TVs or enjoy the company of family friends in an atmosphere where we make sure our guests feel comfortable.
I really enjoy going to Nicky's, as it is a great neighborhood place to go with great food and drinks. People are friendly and the atmosphere warm and cozy. The hamburgers are great and the pizza so delicious! If there is a great game on television, you can go to Nicky's and see it while you eat or have a cocktail. All in all I highly recommend Nicky's for great casual dining!

We went for lunch and got the grouper cakes and burgers. Everything was very good and the decor had a new and clean look. Service was typical with frequent enough check ups. Had some interesting drinks on the menu and a good beer selection. I would definitely go back for dinner sometime.

Met with showcases of pastries and pies but, also, a smiling face! Burger was good. Wrap was filled with chicken and nice crisp bacon - not just lettuce and tomato. Attentive, pleasant server. Would return if we lived in the area!

The staff were very welcoming and patient in dealing with the various members of our family party, whose demands varied by age. The menu offers a nice range of choices, and the food was very good overall. The restaurant has a very pleasant ambiance, and we all enjoyed the evening.

Located on the main thoroughfare in west Depere this is a interesting and eclectic bar/restaurant. We parked in back for free for 2 hours (best option) and came through back door. Although it was not Tuesday (normal day they feature their lasagna), they did have some and we both had it. The bartender also served as our waitress and was attentive and friendly.

If I was a local this would definitely be on my list. This hits all the check marks.
Breakfast is my favorite meal out and they do the little things to make a difference. Menu has many options. I wanted just basic eggs and bacon. Cooked like I wanted and they even butter the whole piece of toast. Real potatoes as well.
Service was outstanding.
The front of the building is deceiving. It's not an office building even though there are small businesses on each side, and they have another entrance in back, that locals would know about but don't let the building bother you. Very clean inside.
Definitely will be back when I'm in town.

I was looking for some deli food. I went on TripAdvisor to see what was around DePere. I found this place & checked out the reviews. It is located a couple miles out of town but well worth the drive.
I had a sub sandwich and chips which was very good. I saw they also had hand dipped ice cream.
So I went back a couple weeks later to get subs for my wife & I and also got 2 servings of ice cream. I was a hero to my wife!
They also have a couple beers on tap and a home made root beer.
