Braun Seafood 2 Go

This is both a take out and eat in restaurant

Reviewed By Julianne D

Out of my entire party, I was the only non seafood eater, but wow did we enjoy our meal. I got the chicken wrap on spinach and it was warm and delicious. My family got clams, mussels, lobster rolls, stuffed flounder and crab and they were pleased. The garlicky smells were delightful. The only foods we thought could be better were the onion rings and sweet potato fries, which I saw employees take out of freezer bags and put into fryers while waiting for our food. I wish the entire menu was fresh. But overall, good experience, and will most likely be back!

We had a nice Moroccan dish with chicken olives preserved lemons.
We also had a nice burger. The crab cake was different from anything I've ever had anywhere else and also the best I've ever had. It wasn't breaded which made it very delightful. Creative drinks, good desserts.
Sufficient parking.
Dinner for 4 with one appetizer for the group, and two drinks totalled $157. Before tip. Would definitely go again. Excellent.

We have been here countless times. They make wild and interesting flavors. If I'm having ice cream it has to be homemade. I get the kiddie size and am very satisfied. My husband always needs at least a large!! If you like ice cream, be sure not to drive past!!!

My husband and I stopped in here for lunch early on a Saturday. As usual, this location was busy. We were seated immediately but it did take a bit of of while till our order was taken. I had a salad with chicken, avocado & mango with a lime dressing. My husband had steak and frites. They were both delicious. The garlic fries were so tasty! Excellent lunch. Only issue when we first walked in, although we were seated right away it was a bit too long before someone came to our table.

We were there on an off season Saturday night (our anniversary), and had a really nice, quiet, evening. We both had the 3-course menu with a wine pairing. The waiters were excellent, and all of our dishes were very good. By the end of the meal, we were too full for two desserts but the cookies can be taken in a to-go bag. We took them, and we ate them for days.

Touch of Venice

Established in 1989 Touch of Venice is a family owned and operated restaurant serving Long Island's North Fork for over 20 years. We have full bar, a private room for catering; and our outside patio is the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious Bellini. We designed our menu to combine traditional Italian classics with a creative, contemporary twist. We use locally-sourced fresh fish and produce, all-natural meats, and specialty Italian imports. All deserts are prepared on premises, including Barbara's famous Italian cheesecake. We pay close attention to our wine list and tailor our selections to compliment the cuisine. Our wine list includes regional Italian classics and local North Fork wines. Touch of Venice is open year-round. During the summer, we serve lunch and dinner 7 days a week; out of season we recommend calling for hours. We hope you'll join us!Rated "Very Good," ... A family owned and operated restaurant with great service and fine Italian food. Hosted an all day educational meeting starting at 8:30 - 4:30 in a private dining area, with a buffet lunch served in the same room. Ettore and his staff go out of their way to accommodate your every need. This is the 3rd of 4th time we have used the facility for this business and have never been disappointed. I have also dined there personally for dinner and lunch, and their food is always professionally cooked and served.

I was excited to try the cheese. We didn't even get a chance to. Waited in a line, like everyone else, there were 3 ppl waiting including me. One counter staff was preparing cheese for a customer and the other staff member was ringing a customer up and the customer kept going on and on and on about why another cheese shop should be opened in her yard. Kept on going on. And the staff member helping her was being polite to entertain her rant. Unfortunately, the staff member just took a customer that just walked in the door over all of us who have been waiting patiently to be helped. She saw us but just went ahead and took someone else. I walked out with my family. No thanks. Cheese is cheese. Poor customer service kills. Will not be trying the cheese here.

Case's Place

Reviewed By Road-Maven - Long Island

We've been wanting to try Case's Place for a while. We've eaten in this building for years when it was the "Galley Ho", the "Ho", something else... well, you get the idea. They have a nice deck with outdoor dining and views of Robin's Island and Cutchogue Bay. They have a dock with an attendant if you want to come by boat. I would be a little careful at night.
The lunch menu could be better with most seafood choices being fried including fried fish, fried shrimp, fried scallops etc... Nothing broiled although I didn't ask if they would do it for me. They also offer salads and burgers but for us, dining by the bay calls for seafood. A real highlight for us were the mussels in white garlic broth appetizer as they were prepared perfectly fresh and plump and garlicky. Although we didn't try one, we did see a lobster roll come out of the kitchen. We noticed the roll was prepared properly toasted with butter and split on the top. However, the lobster meat was small, diced pieces mixed with what we saw was too much mayo. It looked more like a lobster salad sandwich. To us, a proper lobster roll is prepared with chunks of lobster meat so large, you can identify what part of the lobster they came from (claw, knuckle or tail) with mayo and drawn butter on the side but to each his own. Our friends call us lobster snobs. Since we're in New Suffolk rather than Down East Maine, I guess you take what you can get. Personally, if I owned the restaurant, I would install an outdoor cooker and lobster pound and serve fresh steamed lobster and clams.
For the first time in our long lives eating out, another party tried to steal our table after we were seated. They came in a few minutes after us and asked the hostess if she would move us so they could sit at our table. Chutzpah! To the hostess's credit, she refused.
Added a circle for the view! We will be back.

Southold Fish Market

Reviewed By PAM_from_LINY - NY NY

Southold Fish Market is located in a convenient spot right off the main road with plenty of parking, in a relatively recently built facility. The fresh fish never disappoints and there is a wide selection of fish and shellfish, along with frozen and refrigerated sauces, spreads and selections. The spreads are great for party appetizers. On the opposite side of the store is a dining area--most of the menu is fried seafood and fried sides, better than bars in the area but the preparation does not take full advantage of the freshness of the fish. The servers in general - both in the raw store and the dining area - are young and impatient. During the summer season when this place is busy, they can be surly, giving the eye as you select the fish you'd like to purchase, even if you are placing a large order. There is a large garbage hamper in the parking lot and during hot summer months there have been times it stinks badly, the seagulls love it, though.
