We had guests from the DC area and took them to our favorite restaurant, Bistro 63. They were totally impressed with the menu, the food and the great service. They said it was an incredible restaurant and were totally impressed. We've been eating at the Bistro since we moved to the area two years ago and it's always wonderful food and service. The lobster mac and cheese is fabulous and the steaks are always wonderful. We love the fresh items on the menu and have never been disappointed with this wonderful bistro in the northwoods. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

We've been coming to County Line for almost 10 years mostly because it's very convenient to our cabin. The food has been, for the most part, consistently good. Favorites include the broasted chicken, pizza and battered fish. Service however has been spotty. The best way to sum it up is that it seems like the staff is doing ME a favor by serving me. My last visit was on Wednesday with a friend for dinner. The restaurant was not busy. We ordered our food (a philly sandwich and chicken dinner) and beverages. When our food arrived, I asked for a glass of water. I never got it nor did we see our server again that evening. We finished eating and finally after about 10 minutes, asked another server if she would find our server so we could get the check. The 2nd server returned with our check and thankfully we had the right amount of cash so we didn't have to wait even longer. In summary, I recommend ordering carryout here....you'll get better service at your own home.

We stop at the DQ every time we go to Louie's Meats for a bratwurst at the Brat Stand. This summer my grandson started working there so we'll be visiting more often:)

While traveluing with my family for Memorial Day we came through town intending to eat at a place we visited last year. It was closed, went to another place...closed for a private event, went to a third place...closed. We finally found this spot and boy were we happy.
The food was terrific. We tried the patty met (excellent), 1/4 chicken (very good), chicken strips and as jus also both quite good. Onion rings were plentiful with the meals and very tasty.
Service was good even though the lone server was also acting as bartender at the bar off the restaurant.
Would definitely stop here again.

We went here with my daughter and her husband to celebrate her birthday. I had the special...stuffed chicken and my husband had a steak. My daughter and her husband had pasta..one with chicken and one with scallops. We all enjoyed our meals. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Atmoshere was casual dressy. Would definitely go back.

This place is a gem that you wouldn't expect in its location. I will always stop if my travels bring me that way. Beautiful Italian look, unique and well displayed olives, cheeses, etc. I don't recall a place to eat in, but I did get a sandwich to go in addition to my "grocery" purchases. Yum.

We stopped here for lunch one day while visiting family. They were still serving breakfast around lunch time. And really, who doesn't love breakfast food. Very kid friendly here. My daughters were SOOOO excited about all the different color crayons and coloring books. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We all ordered a variety of food and we all loved what we ordered. This is a new favorite for when we are in Barronnet!!

This is a nice Italian restaurant with a relaxed, hometown atmosphere. The prices and quantities are good. Takeout is available. Menu items include pizza, ravioli, cavatelli, spaghetti and combo platters. Be prepared to wait on busy nights, as this is a popular spot! Your patience will be worth it.
Open Wednesday-Sunday evenings

We ate here tonight, and I do not want to return. The fish is served in long, thin pieces with more dark/silver on the fish than I prefer. It is soggy and oily, and my husband and I had to discard most of the batter. The corn muffin seems like a generic thawed muffin not resembling a corn muffin at all actually, and is whitish in color and tasteless. My baked potato tasted like plastic, although to be fair- my husband thought his was good. There was no lemon wedge served with the fish either, which I found a bit weird. I do not wish to return- for the fish anyway. I did hear the burgers are good though.

We eat here for the Friday night fish fry and think it is very good. Other people in our family like the burgers and pizza. This is a local NW Wisconsin bar and restaurant and our rating is based on that type of place. It overlooks Staples Lake. It has full bar and serves breakfast on weekends. It is not fancy, but the food is good and it provides local character. The prices are reasonable for the area. It is kind of out of the way, but not hard to find.
