We went here based on the positive TA reviews. Its lovely, but..... $9.95 for a bowl of so-called "broccoli-cheddar" (where someone before us got all the broccoli and cheddar and we got the nutritious broth/oil) soup, an avocado something-or-another (scrape out half of an avocado and spread it on bread) and a couple cups of coffee = $21.25. Afterwards, took a stroll up the street. On the chalk board, the Frost Diner had an entree with two sides for $7.95......

Love the sugar cookies, just like I remember as a kid. The donuts look amazing and the special Easter egg cakes looked so pretty. Lots of well decorated items for the holiday and the scent of cinnamon and chocolate was very enticing. Very helpful staff on this visit and it was a nostalgic trip to go in.

Enjoyed the evening tremendously. Was i cited as a Christmas gift by a friend. Housed in a historic building with brick walls, heating appeared to be an issue with draft across floor. The food was basically excellent. The gumbo was not as expected as I had visited New Orleans several times. Also our hosts were native of New Orleans.
The gumbo was however tasty. The homemade rolls were delicious. The entrees of Swordfish, Crab and Lobster Cakes,Lamb and New York Strip Steak were excellent. The sides were also excellent. There was some concern however when presented with the bill. We were only a table of four. It was advertised that a gratuity of 20% would be added to a table of 6.
At any rate, we enjoyed the evening and the food.

Quirky tea room in the English style. A huge variety of unusual teas is available and to assist customers with their choice, a rotating stand of samples is provided on the table to have a good sniff of. We had the cream tea, which was a good attempt at an English one. The cream was not quite like English cream and neither it nor the jam were in sufficient quantity, but we thoroughly enjoyed it nevertheless. The tables are beautifully laid with pretty China and table linen. A room called ‘Grandma’s Attic’ at the back has loads of hats which customers can try on and wear whilst taking tea. Great fun!

We had such a lovely tea bunch. The food was wonderful, as was the tea! Definitely will go back! My husband and I had been walking through the town, deciding where we wanted to eat and decided we'd like to see if we could try the Tea Room w/out having reservations. They do take walk-ins w/out reservations, so we were sat right away. You are able to smell EVERY tea they offer, which is just awesome! We picked a brunch special where both of us received a pot of the tea of our choosing ,and the several finger foods (little sandwiches, fruits, desserts). The food platter was way larger than what we were expecting and everything was wonderful! They even have a room filled with hats that you can select one and play "dress up" by wearing one of the hats while you enjoy your tea! We had such a good time and plan on going back often!!

Went in here after lunch, which was a good thing or we'd have bought a lot more. Lots of help selecting cheese from the staff, and free tastings. Packed our selection in ice for $1 - hot day and long drive home ahead. Nice shop.

Excellent service with fantastic food. Fried chicken with collard greens and mashed potatoes, shaved beef sandwiches, salads and wonderful hot cider. Excellent service. Highly recommend this great restaurant in an adorable little town.

I had a craving for Thai food. This was the only Thai restaurant that came up in Culpeper. My boyfriend had never noticed it. We sat outside. The food was very good. I had the satay and green curry. He had the noodle salad and ginger chicken. We we're very pleased. Service was fine.
