Toni’s Kitchen is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants on the mountain. Their chips and salsa are good, not great, but better than most. I had the three shredded beef tacos special (only $5.99). My wife had the three item combo; chili relano, cheese enchilada and ground beef taco with rice and beans. Our friends ordered the chicken machaca and chili verde. The shredded beef in the tacos was very moist and seasoned nicely. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the three item combo. As the food is plentiful, she ended up taking home almost the entire enchilada and sides. The server recommended the chicken over beef machaca. Our friend raved about the chicken machaca. As the machaca was very plentiful, she offered me one of the burritos. After sampling the Machaca I was equally pleased. This will definitely be what I order on my next visit. Unfortunately her husband was not pleased with the chili verde as the meat was dry and overdone.
My one complaint was the service. After serving our food the server just disappeared. This was not the first time we have experience poor service from this particular server. Fortunately the server at the table next to us was very helpful.

The Grill is located in Twin Peaks near Lake Arrowhead it is located in a 100 year old log building. With full patio and a Sushi Bar open four nights a week.
Great dining at this restaurant. Menu varied from pasta to steaks. The pasta I had, Chicken Penne Gorgonzola, was delicious. Wait staff very attentive and helpful.

They have an excellent selection of coffee with a lot of different flavors and also a food selection for lunch. The porch is a great place to just sit and relax and enjoy your self.

An interesting menu and the food was well-prepared. Kind of a rustic decor. Service was excellent. The charcuterie appetizer was bigger than expected and very good. All entrees were tasty. Call ahead for reservations, because there aren't many tables and this place is popular.

It's hard to find good Pizza in the mountain communities so it was a revelation when LouEddies opened in Skyforest. During the summer/Spring months, there is plenty of outdoor seating under the trees. The open air atmosphere is fantastic and the food is great. However in the colder months, seating is limited to indoor in their small dining room. They will do take out which has been a lifesaver during the winter months. I've driven through the deep snow just to bring home a fresh hot pizza from LouEddies.

Yum, I love getting takeout food from the Cottage on a Sunday night ( I work Thusday through Sunday.) their pizza is terrific, the chicken piccata with real mashed potatoes and fresh veggies is delicious! Salads are fresh, so is the bread, and it's never-ending when you eat in the restaurant, if you're so inclined.

This is the first(and best) of four resturants they have. BEST lunch you can have
This place has the best and biggest burritos. My favorite is the double garbage. Everything you can think of is in it.

I'm not a regular coffee drinker and when I do partake Starbucks is usually not my choice. I find nothing special or even appealing about Starbucks coffee.
That being said this location (inside the Jensen's market) was clean, had lots of seating, and Jensen's has a wonderful bakery right next to the coffee.

Dine-in or take-out casual breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The wait staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good and reasonably priced. I liked that we could choose individual breakfast items, so we didn't have to have cheese or other things we try to avoid. This was our first visit, but we'll be back.

I don't know what has gone wrong under Lake Gregory Coffee's new ownership. Whatever it is, I removed my original five-star review and must replace it with this one-star cautionary tale.
The little woman and I used to love this place. It was the first eatery of any kind we stopped at when we decided to start looking for a place to live in Crestline in late 2012. It is now completely intolerable.
What was once a place that had the same faces working the counter is now a merry-go-round of ever-changing characters that are either clueless about how to prepare coffee and sandwiches or not allowed to do so by the new owners. Over the past year, the coffee drinks of all types have become weaker and weaker. On our visit this morning, it tasted as if there was none in either of our mocha lattes. What we got was more like barely hot, watery hot cocoa.
This establishment has also lost its way on food. The previously enticing pastry display is now a half-filled disaster that looks as if a dog rummaged through it. The sandwich orders are bungled in one way or another every time even though one fills out a card plainly showing what is and is not wanted on the sandwich. Even worse, a hot sandwich comes out partially cold...and all of these disasters across all of my 2016 visits happened during morning hours but when the place was not busy.
I am truly sorry to blast a local business like this as I know how hard it is for them to survive in this area. However, I cannot justify remaining silent. I hope people reading my new review will heed the warning of a local that gave Lake Gregory Coffee's current owners multiple opportunities through 2016 to get things together. Trust me, you will receive proper coffee at either the other little place on Lake Drive or even the coffee bar at the local supermarket. As for this place, these days, a cup of water out of its local namesake would be more flavorful.
