Speaking as a person of Indian descent, the food is quite bland and the spices are nowhere near what you would find at a hardcore Indian restaurant. My chicken tikka just had a faint marinade, the samosas and the chutneys had no kick. Ingredients were fairly fresh, it just lacked spice and Indian flavor. I like the hole in the wall setting and the people working there were friendly. I definitely enjoyed my mango shake.
Almost all of the diners were non-Indians so I think that is what they’ve catered to. It’s good if you fall into that crowd and want a lite taste of India, but I think the hardcore fans like me will be disappointed.

They are located in Coral Spring city. They make very delicious and beautiful cake. We bought many times for family member birthdays. Their veg. are very fresh and price is cheap. We always buy their tomatoes. You can also grab a bottle of Italian wine there when you do the shopping.

We attended a luncheon at Tavolino and it was the best food ever!! Appetizers to die for!
Bruschetta di Pomodoro! So delicious! Their signature pear pasta, never had anything so tasty. Caesar salad great! Our meal plan featured several entrees so good I couldn’t say which one was better than the other! Pollo Caprese, Roasted Garlic Crusted Salmon and finally Penne alla Vodka!, can’t wait to go back again. And finally the Chocolate Martini!! Never had one before and it is amazing! And to end it all for dessert, mini cannolis and almond paste cookies!!!!

Mediterranean and global health conscious cuisine vegan and gluten free friendly Saturday and Sunday brunch bottomless mimosas Happy hour daily 4-7 half off all wine and beer, glasses or bottles Ladies night 80's 90's music $5 three glasses of house wine
We found this just off the highway instead of the other choices which were all fast food. There were lots of choices for vegans and those on gluten-free diets as well as those looking for traditional middle-eastern fare.
The tofu burger was amazing and not typical of a middle-eastern restaurant. The falafel avocado wrap was an interesting choice too and they had a choice of regular, whole-wheat or gluten free wraps. Others in our group enjoyed schwarma wraps.
It was sit down service but the meal came fairly quickly. Outdoor seating was available.

Sure, this restaurant is owned by Nicko McBrain, drummer for the legendary metal band Iron Maiden, and sure, the décor features everything from gold record award plaques to one-of-a-kind Iron Maiden memorabilia, but this is an excellent restaurant in its own right.
The offerings are surprisingly reasonable in price considering the uniqueness of the eatery, and the pulled-pork sandwich and two sides were quite good for a mere $10-12. I'd have preferred the pulled pork to be bit juicier, but that's my own personal taste.
We visited just after we had debarked from the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise and arrived just before Rock'n'Roll Ribs opened at 11 am. The staff were already prepping for a busy day of hungry metalheads, and sure enough, by 11:30 the restaurant was at full capacity. This was an unusual circumstance, though, with 3,000+ metalheads all arriving back at nearby Port Everglades, and I have to assume that their normal weekly lunch traffic isn't quite as busy.
Despite the extra volume of customers, our service was good and our orders were brought within ten minutes.
They also offer some restaurant-specific T-shirts which will be near the door and the cash register. I just HAD to get an Iron Maiden tee with the restaurant itself (and their longtime mascot "Eddie") as the artwork.
All in all, a satisfying experience. Like many of our fellow cruise "survivors" we were hoping to meet Nicko himself, but he was not present during our visit. He does stop by fairly often when he is in town, and in fact visited his restaurant the following day.

Closed July 2, 2017 for renovation. Opening later in July.

Coral Spring’s landmark spot for lunch, dinner, happy hour and parties since 1984.

At Runyon’s you’ll feel like a regular from the moment you walk through the door. Here you can enjoy an amazing array of superb hand cut steaks and chops grilled to perfection, day boat fish, fresh seafood, salads, classic appetizers like colossal shrimp cocktail, escargot, comfort foods like homemade meatloaf, the famous house Prime Rib, Maine lobster roll along with “two handed” hand-pattied burgers and sandwiches.

Runyon’s is located in Coral Springs just a few minutes from Boca Raton and 11 miles from Fort Lauderdale. It’s been attracting celebrities, politicians and famous athletes like Arnold Schwartzenegger, Matt Damon, Arnold Palmer, Steve Young, Liza Minnelli, Ed Koch, Yogi Berra, Bobby Orr, Dan Rather, Jason Taylor, Riley & Nicky Hilton and countless others from all walks of life who love the laid back and welcoming atmosphere, great food and first rate drinks.

The restaurant features a large main dining room with a fireplace and piano along with three additional dining areas, two of which, the Sonoma and Library, can be used for private functions. An outdoor patio is a popular spot for al fresco dining and will be re-imagined in 2017 to a patio lounge concept. Runyon’s has live piano music seven nights a week from 6 pm Sunday – Thursday and at 7 pm Friday and Saturday. Occasionally guests will join in and sing a favorite song and, of course, the pianist always will play a favorite upon request.
If you want to find a place where you will get first class service and a dinner to go with it, plan a night out to Runyons. It doesn't come cheap but it will be well worth it. Everything is delicious and tjwy have the best steaks around. I enjoyed eating in the front area near the bar more than the back dining rooms. Get a table there because it aeems more intimate. If you go for a special birthday or anniversary let them know and they have your name on a board when you arrive.

A Very Nice Local Restaurant
Not the usual Italian restaurant. Most dishes are designed to share. We described it as Italian "tapas". The food was delicious. We went early and had no problem getting a table. They do not take reservations. By the time we left all the tables were full on a Wednesday evening in season. This was our first visit so cannot say how it gets during the off season. Very reasonable prices with generous portions. Great salad, wings, meatballs, pizza etc. If you get there for happy hour (5 PM - 7 PM) the drinks are discounted. The sangria was great and they served a very large tumbler of it. There are several of these around Broward county and I assume they are all about the same quality. Highly recommend.

Had heard good things about this place so decided to try it. Roomy, pleasant eating space. Friendly wait staff but only average food. Very large menu. Beer and wine. free parking at the door. Reasonably priced. Average sized portions. Didn't seem to be loaded with MSG.
