After playing around the golf at Saddle Creek golf course stopped in the town square for a little dinner. Really cool atmosphere and the decor there's a bar with chairs and TV to watch the games. Food was very good, service was fast and friendly I felt it was very reasonably priced. If you're up for a good meal I suggest you give it a try it won't disappoint. Our server was very friendly and made us laugh throughout our meal, it was very relaxing atmosphere got to watch a few of the basketball games while we finished dinner.

Passing through Copperopolis, we decided to visit "New Coppertown" an area designed to be a walkable community. The foundation of the town is present, but the economy in Calaveras County doesn't allow the developers to proceed. Hopefully it will grow given time as the area needs new development.
Anyway, this coffee/cafe existed previously under another name. We stopped to get coffee but decided to try the Homestyle Breakfast. The meal was good and the coffee very good. If you are just passing through the area for fishing or camping, stop for a chip and support the local business so this business can survive.

This is a family owed and operated restaurant, Mum, Dad and children all work there plus others. The food was well prepared and presented well. I had veal and my wife and daughter had steak, all meals were very good and reasonably priced. Get there early or book up beforehand hand otherwise you won’t get a seat. Say hello to Gill (the Dad) he is a lovely guy and very chatty (so it might take a while) but he will look after you that is certain

It's a Starbuck's, just what you'd expect. They do have an exceptional air conditioning set-up. Staff were friendly and swift.

This is an early 1900's building where the original charm has been maintained. The wood banister, the wood pharmacy cabinets and the entire atmosphere is perfect. I stopped by for breakfast and a latte. The panini breakfast sandwich was the best I have ever eaten.
Great place to eat in a great atmosphere.

Woods Creek is our go-to place for breakfast. You can get darned near anything you can imagine and then some! They have excellent food, great service, worth the wait if you have a short wait! ALWAYS GREAT!

This review reflects our impressions of this restaurant following 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners.
Breakfasts were served promptly, hot and were of very generous proportion.
The dinners were disappointing. Roast beef was very flavorful but borderline tough; it was not very good. The short ribs were served at room temperature and were dry, tough and stringy. The Caesar salad was literally floating in some sort of oil-based mystery dressing.
The service at all 4 meals was friendly, positive and helpful.

Even in small towns with just a couple restaurants, there's always a pizza place.
Mike's pizza is of medium thickness but the crust is super crispy. The "salad bar" was lettuce, a handful of toppings and a couple of dressings. It was messy so we passed. They serve Coke and Pepsi products along with half a dozen beers on tap.
Interior is a bit worn and loud with the arcade games but the pizza was a pleasant surprise.

We stopped here while exploring the Copperopolis area. The hamburgers were very good. The restaurant is extremely clean and neat. There are only two large picnic tables out front where you can sit to enjoy your food but it was a pleasant area under a roof with grass and trees in front. I would recommend this for good quick food.

Glad I ordered only the small biscuit and gravy, still didn't make it all the way! My husband had the omelette and hash browns. One of the few places to make really good sausage gravy and perfect hash browns . Awesome waitress too. We had a very nice time, early breakfast when not much else open. Gave us the chance to stroll through town and check everything out. Ready to go back again soon.
