Our server Jen explained the specials and was very helpful explaining about all items on the menu. the atmosphere was like an Italian kitchen with Italian style music and décor. The arancini appetizer was phenomenal. I got the 13 layer lasagna with house made pasta that melted in my mouth, but could not finish it because the portion was so large. I have not found a better Italian restaurant in town. the meal was followed by a complementary shot of house made chocolate liquer and a sample of delicious tiramisu.

Went here for drinks and appetizers. The food was good and the drinks were great as well. My husband and I each ordered a flight of beer so we could sample the different beers. Would definitely go again next time I'm in the state. Thanks for choosing to visit Perrin you were in Michigan! Happy to hear you were able to enjoy the several beer offering in the pub. My parents introduced me to the Swan Inn years ago. I happen to like the liver and onions; hubby likes the pork chops. We probably eat breakfast here the most - they have yogurt parfaits and eggs hollandaise. One thing I like is they have a half order of the EH. I'll continue to go here in the future!

Grove, an Essence Restaurant Group establishment, brings Farm-to-Table with modern, authentic cuisine featuring our Essence hallmarks: impeccable service and fresh, natural, local ingredients.
This was my 3rd visit to Grove. It did not disappoint. The food was fabulous - I had the duck as did two others - and we were all very happy with our selection. The accompanying vegetables were wonderful. The first courses are quite large and could easily work as a main entree. The shrimp
and grits was quite good and was a large helping. Grove is a great place for a special occasion as it is at the higher end of the price scale - but it’s worth it.

Went to BU for our anniversary with some friends. Didnt know what to expect but was really surprised by the food quality, tastes, whiskey and bourbon choices, beer choices, service and atmosphere. We ordered the crispy brussels sprouts which were the best brussels sprouts ever. Try them even if you dont like bs. I ordered the beef stroganoff, which was very good. The smoked brisket was very tasty, I just wish the pieces were smaller, but thats me. My wife ordered the skate wing, which had a really tasty buttermilk potato sauce. The smokehouse barbeque pork sandwich looked great, along with smoke pastrami. I ordered a pour of woodford reserve, which I knew would be excellent. Lots of food and drinks for everyone, give em a try.
This is a must return for us, guaranteed!

My husband and I went here for lunch. I had the onion rings, the best in town. They are not the pre-cooked frozen kind. They hand dip them in batter, then deep fry. This is the only place in the area I know of that serves this type of onion rings. The best!!

Voted Best Pizza in the Grand Rapids Area, in the Mlive "Michigan's Best Pizza" contest in 2013 hosted by Gonzo, our restaurant won the Grand Rapids Press section. The incredible Fricano's pizza has stood the test of time. Our pizzas, including the EBA Everything but Anchovies, are completely unchanged for over 60 years.
Fricano's is a West Michigan iconic restaurant. The original one in Grand Haven has the most history but the one on Alpine Avenue does a great job duplicating the pizza. It is unlike anything you have had compared to traditional pizza. Thin and flavorful it is something you need to try to truly experience. Doug the owner is a great host and wants to make sure you have a great experience. Give it a try and I think you will find it a truly unique pizza experience.

Visited here around Valentine's Day 2017 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. While the food is pricey, it is beautifully presented and is delicious. We started with crabcake appetizers and caesar salad, followed by bouillabaisse and sea scallops. Everything was fabulous and we were too full for dessert, although it was tempting. I highly recommend this seafood restaurant and would definitely dine here again.
