Good tea and coffee. Not much more I can say. Dont go on a Saturday afternoon the place is packed and they usually only have one person on the cash register.

Stopped here based on reviews and our hunger and travel. We eat plant based and were craving veggies. Had wonderful veggie sandwich grilled on panini, broccoli slaw and tea. The old warehouse remodel is a lovely environment and the shop and wine pulls the ambience all together for a great lunch.

Good TImes Tavern and Restaurant

Reviewed By Carolyn S - Buxton, NC

We needed some dinner on our drive back from Raleigh. And saw the light on at this establishment located right on highway 64. The outside looks like an old time tavern, so we weren't sure how good the food might be. But we were really surprised. I had grilled chicken with salad and my husband had fettucino alfredo. The alfredo sauce was not too heavy and it came with some fresh steamed broccoli and carrots. The service was friendly and we felt like it was very clean.

A little under-whelming restaurant in the back of a nice winery. Staff was slow and rather unenthusiastic, and the food was just mediocre. Lots of coffee drinks that looked quite good, but I opted for one of the paninis that really barely got warm and had little flavor.

Call of the Wild

We drove the long way to get to Hatteras, NC and stopped by this food truck on the way down. We drove back this way even though it is an hour out of the way just so we could eat the soft shell crabs again. Perfectly fried, incredibly fresh soft shell crabs served with delicious hush puppies and really good coleslaw. It's a silver food truck right next to a seafood store. 1366 Hwy 64 E, Columbia NC. There are no large signs, look for the Seafood market and large metal sculptures of seafood. This is a gem! It is a food truck so it is outdoor seating only. They have a tent with picnic tables.

Hwy 55 Burgers, Shakes & Fries

Reviewed By BQsc - Greenville, South Carolina, United States

We were a group of 8 and we all were well pleased with our food. I got the pimento burger and added jalapeño - it was very juicy and the jalapeños set it off with flavor. My husband got the $6.99 special with chili and onions. (Special comes with drink and fries.). He commented he wishes we had one of these near our home. My grandmother got the special too, but she ordered hers with lettuce and tomato and with onion rings instead of fries. The onion rings were good! My mom got the jalapeño jack cheesesteak. It was soooo good! My sister got the John boy burger and she said she loved the sauce. Bacon on hers and mine were cooked well - soft and real bacon. The bread was soft and fresh. My friend got the shrimp po boy and said he enjoyed it..the sauce was good. We will definitely be back every time we pass by it. The service was friendly and prompt.
