I thought I was going to hate this place. We boys in the family flew in for the A&M/UNM game with reservations here for 8:45 Friday night. They were PACKED. No table, no room at the bar, no nothing. But the hostess staff moved heaven and earth to get us seated. They could not have been better.
Our waiter came out and got everything going from there. He was simply the best. The bar staff made sure we got a couple of wonderful bottles of wine at the lower end of their wine list.
The food was so good that it"s hard to do it justice in print. We split an artesianal cheese plate and steak tartare. Five cheeses, all kinds of wonderful accompaniments (the bacon jam is delicious). And the tartare was the best I've ever tasted. For entree the guys had the filet and the pork (wow, that pork was good), and loved them. I had the chicken-fried FILET (of all things) and it was marvelous. I'd order it again and again.
Then dessert, after-dinner drinks, and we were out the door with one of the best dining experiences imaginable. This is top notch fine dining, boys and girls.

Full menu offered 24 hours a day Tuesday - Sunday!
Maybe better than Torchy's? We had a very satisfying lunch here, choosing the El Presidente (the default char-flamed chicken was excellent), and the Juan Juan, which was quite tasty except for one piece of overly fatty pork. Salsas available at the salad bar may be required to adjust the flavorings to your liking.
Surprisingly, on a Thursday at 1:00 PM, there was no crowd.

If you’re looking for great tacos head across the street to Fuegos. Fuegos is my go-to taco place when in College Station, but they don’t serve margaritas so I decided to give Mad Taco a try. The raspberry margarita was perfect! Taco portions are smaller, so be sure to order two. I order the Carne Guisida...it was fine. Nothing spectacular.

We're passionate about great food, great drinks and great hospitality. We believe in fresh ingredients and big flavours, delivered by caring, friendly people. And we know that a lively environment makes it all feel and taste better. At Grub we use quality, fresh, and differentiating ingredients. Our buns are baked from scratch every hour. We grind our signature blend of chuck and brisket in-house daily. All of our sauces and dressings are homemade. We are proud to source local when possible. We believe in the space between... when you're not so busy DOING that you have time for laughing out loud, small moments, and big dreams. So be yourself and enjoy the ride.
Tried this place on a Saturday afternoon group of 7. Ordered our food at the counter and they assign you a table number. Burger , fries and onion rings were good. This place feels like a knock off of Hopdoddy. The skinny fries don’t taste fresh cut. Onion rings I wouldn’t order again. Lot of Tea choices. The food was good but not as good as Hopdoddy.

Was very impressed with our dinner here in almost every possible way. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, the fish was prepared perfectly, service was excellent, and the sides were very good, too. Desserts (key lime pie and bread pudding) were excellent.
My only complaints would be that their beer list is very weak and the portion sizes were relatively small. Still, the grilled redfish special with avocado and pico de gallo was really excellent. Would go back.

Our menu feels familiar without being common, offering delicious flavors and variety at a great value. We focus on doing things consistently and exceptionally well. We make our own tender mozzarella and hand cut our steaks and fish. Our pizza is hand-tossed, and we make all of our gelato in-house. Our large variety of affordable Napa Valley and California wines are available either by the bottle or glass. Wine on tap allows us to provide wine-by-the-bottle quality by individual glass, served at the perfect temperature to enhance the taste.
I wrote a review a couple of years ago when they first opened. And boy did I love it and went several times a week. I haven't been back in a while until several weeks ago and I was disappointed on how things were. The food wasn't as good as it use to be. To be honest, I was so disappointed to the point where I didn't even want to pay for the food. Since I barely ate any of it. Also this was a business outing and I happened to be back in town and I was thrilled to take a colluege here since he hasn't been there. Doing so was a mistake and honestly a embarrassment to myself. The thing is, when a business first openes, they take pride in their business. They do everything to heart. Again this was a couple of years ago. Now, it's like the cooks show up, cook some food with no heart or meaning behind it, because you surely can't taste it. I'm not sure what or why they aren't as great as they used to be, but I did notice they've become complacent with their business. I really hope this place reignites that spark again, like when they first opened. I'll be back soon, hoping for a change in the atmosphere.

Veritas is a Casual Upscale Restaurant with focus on Seasonal & Market Driven Menu with emphasis on Asian-American-French flavor.
My wife and I had dinner here for date night. We drank a recommended bottle of pino noir and it did not disappoint. Our sever recommended the grouper and made it made it sound so delicious that we both ordered it. He was right! Everything from atmosphere, service, and food was excellent!

Blue Baker is an artisan bakery cafe serving made-from-scratch breads, pastries, sandwiches, soup, salads, and stone-oven pizza.
At a recent business meeting we were provided box lunches from Blue Baker, consisting of a sandwich, chips, and a cookie. Everything was fresh and the the sandwich was delicious. I had a roast beef sandwich, which I thoroughly enjoyed.CJTravelerTexas, Thank you for the great review! We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your lunch. We hope you will stop in to one of our locations so that we can serve you again soon! Thank you

Very, very pleased with my first dining experience at Cafe Eccell. I was quite surprised at how large the restaurant is inside--doesn't seem that big from the outside. This is a casual dining atmosphere--warm and welcoming--with wall mounted tv's for the sports enthusiasts. Service was prompt and pleasant. We ordered sandwiches and pizzas for dinner, and we each ordered a creme brûlée with fresh fruit topping. Oh my...generous portions and delicious. Cafe Eccell is now in my "number 1" spot as to which restaurant I "must" dine at when in town.

Rustic restaurant with great ambiance. Names carved in all the tables. I will vouch for the chicken fried steak, white gravy, and fries. It was really good. Everyone else in our group got burgers and fries, not a complaint from anyone. Definitely worth a stop.
