Starbucks are generally good places to get coffee and there is no more important situation for which such an option should be available than when traveling the highway. I have stopped at the Commodore Perry Travel Center multiple times when driving the Turnpike and this Starbucks has often been a part of that stop. The Travel Centers in Ohio are actually quite nice giving a pleasant backdrop to the coffee shop. There is a common, shared eating area for all of the establishments in the Center which provides plenty of seating for those who want to enjoy their beverage there. There is also outdoor seating for nice days. The baristas at this shop have always been pretty good and orders seem not to take too long to process from my experience. Of course, I don't tax them too much as I usually get a brewed coffee or a pour-over. Their prices are in line, generally speaking, with other Starbucks I have visited. If you are traveling down the Turnpike, this is a good place to keep in mind.

We wanted the sift serve Carvel ice cream. We waited a few minutes, when we didn't see anyone we went next door to the Sbarro line since they are all connected behind the counter. After we waited behind 5 orders they sent us back to the Cinnabon line and a young gal came out front he back. The soft serve ice cream cones were almost $4 each and they were out of vanilla, only had chocolate (no twists then) so my son chose a "mini" Cinnabon that was almost $4. Slow service and expensive.

I had been next door getting a bagel and decided to grab a starbucks coffee. Now I do not ever get anything other than regular coffee and, to be honest, I am a Tim Horton's Canadian girl. It took 10 minutes to get a regular dark roast. Anyone who ordered a latte or something fancy got theirs right away! Not my usual choice for coffee and I guess when you're away from home you have to go with the flow!

Wanted a coffee and bagel while on the road. Picked an "everything" bagel and finally settled on peanut butter after finding the selections of spreads to be rather pedestrian an not appealing.
After the first bite, my mind flashed on wondering what plastic bag from the grocery shelf this bagel came from? Very little flavor of "anything" and the texture screamed Sara Lee or Butternut Bread.
Sorry, can't come up with any reason to try Einstein Bagels a second time.

We were traveling through and stopped in Clyde for the night. Stumbled on the Blue Collar Bistro. Do not be concerned that this shop is located in a gas station. We had green salads and a chicken pesto pizza that was awesome. There are a few seats; we took ours to go. If everything on their menu is as good as we got ... I'm impressed. Give it a try!

I like the brand but this does not have the stand alone store experience. It's not a bad alternative if you're just looking for a quick bagel.

This is one neat ice cream shop. They do serve soft serve, yogurt, and sherbet along with some food. We had a medium and it was a full. I mean full 16oz cup and only $1.69. And oooh so good. The kids thought it was a blast to order from the little cone building.

This Einstein Brothers is the place at which I usually stop if I need to grab breakfast or lunch while traveling the OH Turnpike. It is probably the best option between Toledo and Cleveland without exiting the Turnpike altogether.
I have been to this establishment a half dozen times or so. I have noticed in the past that it can be undermanned and the wait between putting in an order and getting my food can be a bit longer than I would like. I think this is because it is tricky to know how to staff this location given the undulating nature of the business at a Highway Oasis with the peaks and troughs of customer volume. Otherwise, this place is generally up to Einstein Brothers standards, which are pretty good in my book. Their bagel selection is surprisingly good for their location and their sandwich options are more than satisfactory. The food creations do not necessarily all involve bagels. I had the MexiWrap on my last stop and found it to be very tasty. The prices are also quite moderate making it a pretty decent value. It sure beats the various alternatives along the Turnpike that are generally just standard fast food fare (I think there may also be a Panera at one of the rest stops but that's about the only other decent choice).
Overall, if you are traveling this section of the Turnpike, this is definitely your best bet. The restaurant itself and the rest stop in general are relatively nice facilities and this establishment is going to clearly be the best choice unless you are a fan of fast food fare.
