For those of you not from the Cloquet/Duluth area, most of you won't know the warming house.
You should, however.
This is such a comfortable little place to be, full of quaint charm that you could only expect from a small town business. The Ice cream on offer is extremely delicious and some of the best I've had, the staff is friendly, the coffee is absolutely fantastic, and of course they offer wifi and a comfortable atmosphere.
They have reasonably priced sandwiches, snacks, and baked goods for a light lunch or snack, and there's a playground outside for children to enjoy.
It's located right next to the famous Hi-Hat and open all year, and it's just a great place to go with friends or family to relax and have a good experience.

The Avenue Coffee House has been serving the finest organic coffee & espresso drinks, homemade baked goods and soups, and delicious sandwich, wrap, and salads since 2012. We also serve Bridgeman's ice cream, have a kid's menu and a large indoor playcenter. Located in the historic Chief Theater on Avenue C in Cloquet. The Avenue is Cloquet's best kept secret. Definitely worth stopping in.
I love this place, within walking distance of my office, but I always seem too busy to go. Everyone is very nice, the atmosphere is laid back, food is good, prices are reasonable. I like everything about this place. My daughter loves going for the ice cream :)

The taste, the portion sizes and the prices are Excellent! You get a nice basket of chips and salsa when you first sit down, They have many kinds of Margaritas and I would recommend the Lindos Special - And you will have the rest for lunch tomorrow.

Time and time again I find myself comparing every espresso drink I order out of town to Bearaboo's. And Bearaboo's wins hands down every time, not just for the quality and taste but also great service every time. The cinnamon rolls and cheesecake are delicious. Bearaboo's drive-thru window is convenient on busy work day mornings too.

It's a good place to relax when you need ice cream or a sundae on the run. I would go back again and again.

Homemade sauce with our secret mix of seasonings. Dough that's made fresh every morning. Specialty meats and real Wisconsin mozzarella cheese. The sounds of crisp crust being cut into perfectly sized squares. That's what you'll find in the kitchen at Sammy's Pizza in Cloquet. Our menu features award-winning pizzas, pastas, hot appetizers, subs, calzones, broasted chicken, fish, soups and salads. In 2015, PMQ Pizza Magazine, the pizza industry’s No. 1 publication, inducted Sammy’s into its Pizza Hall of Fame — which pays tribute to popular pizzerias in business for 50 years or longer.
Our order took forever then the waiter said they didn't get the order in the back. I was going to get the pizza and wings buffet. it always seemed to be either out of pizza or they just bring out cheese pizza. It took almost am hour and a half to get our order. The waiter was very sweaty. I ordered a calzone and when it did finally come it was very good,

We stopped at the Family Tradition Restaurant on the way to our cabin. I was going to order the turkey/mashed potatoes/gravy, but was disappointed to hear their Turkey was deli meat. I decided to order the roast beef/au jus sandwich with swiss cheese.($7.99 with chips) I was very surprised the roast beef was served on a bun a little bigger than a hot dog bun with very little meat. The chips were just plain old chips-nothing special. They forgot the swiss cheese and the au jus seemed watered down. The waitress never bothered to come back to see if everything was OK or if there was anything else we needed. (there were 3 other people in the restaurant, so it wasn't like they were busy!) My husband ordered the goulash. he said the salad was good, the goulash had all the makings to be good, just needed some seasonings to make it flavorful. Needless to say; we won't be returning

Had a really delicious meal for dinner. Looks like a small family run place. We were most impressed by our server, Jeremy. What a charming, efficient, friendly, quick, amazing young man who worked the whole restaurant. Meal was super tasty. Great little find!
