First off, our server/waitress was Keri (#120) and she was excellent. Very courteous, attentive, happy to be taking care of our group of 3 couples, professional and just generally on top of things. Every restaurant could use a caring and dedicated employee as she was. This was our first visit and prices were good, service was excellent and overall the food was very good. My wife had the medallions and even though she asked for medium well, one (there were 2) was at the best, medium but we did not complain because I prefer medium rare on my steak and she ended up not being able to eat it all anyway. Her food had a great taste to it though. My burger was delicious but more medium than medium well on that item. Not a problem just wasn't cooked as asked. The other 4 people had no major issues with their food at all.
The only other negative was at the beginning of dinner hour, it wasn't packed yet, there were no paper towels in the men's room. Seems like someone would keep an eye on that. I did let an employee know but when I washed my hands after dinner, they still hadn't put any in there and by that time, the place was full.
Would I go back, yes I would.

Better than most DQs. This location is newer than most and has a comfortable inside dining area. Yum

Who would have thought that the best ice cream value would be inside a gas station!
Inside the Conlee Travel Center at the Clio Vienna Road exit off
I-75, there is an ice cream place with great prices (a huge, three scoop, two flavor cone for under $2.). You can upgrade to a home-made waffle cone for only 30 cents more. They hand-dip your cone at the ice cream counter, then you pay at the gas station register.
When the weather is nice, you can eat outside in front of the Rally's (also located here). Speaking of Rally's, they have very good food prices... and if you don't like really good hand-dipped, Ashby's ice cream, you can get a cheapo $1 soft serve cone at the Rally's fast food joint.
Now the whole family is happy.
Your car can be happy too, the gas pumps have Mobil gas at good prices (sometimes), and there is also a car wash here.
If you are needing road trip supplies, this place has a party store with a good selection of road-trip foods. They even have a freezer with frozen seafood (scallops, lobster tails, pollock, shrimp, etc...).

My husband and I were traveling through Clio and stumbled upon this restaurant. They have an extensive menu and large selection of liquors. Our bartender was fantastic! We each had a burger with fries which were good and an "Irish Breakfast" shot which was delicious!

Lots of seating, full sit up bar, food was good, they serve flat bread pizza, burgers, and subs. Lots of Tv's with sports on them, they have the lottery going on too. Service was a bit on the slow side, but all was good. Little on the pricey side for the food and what you get.

Ok, that's not saying too much. The only other Chinese place in Clio is a real dive. If you compared this place to most Chinese take-out places in the Genesee County area, it would fall into the "average" category.
This place is now only a few months old, and I've eaten here twice. The second time I visited, the weather was warm and the dining area felt like 80 degrees. I'd suggest if the weather is warm, order carry-out and avoid eating in a hot dining room. Because the place is fairly new, it still seems clean... hopefully they keep it up, and not let a greasy film accumulate, as occurs in many oriental places.
Both visits, the food was acceptable... I'd recommend.

Ordered the fish sandwich, it could've fed a small village. As big as it was it was just as delicious. Love the atmosphere, and our waitress was really attentive considering that it was one of the busiest bar nights of the year, nice job April!

We went to this place on our return trip to Bronner’s in Frankenmuth, MI
Our server (Jessica D) was very attentive and personable, making this a very enjoyable experience.
The onion rings appetizer was excellent, and highly recommended.
Our meals (Whiskey chicken, bacon burger, and chicken basket) were very filling and went well with the sweet potato fries (upgraded option).
The meal was reasonably priced and if you are fortunate enough to get Jessica D as your server, you will have an enjoyable experience.

This is Friday June 2, 2017. Stopping for lunch at this Big Boy brought back a lot of memories of when we had one in our home town of Leamington in Ontario. Wish they were still there as do a lot of folks. We stopped here after doing a little shopping and decided an early lunch was in order so we could get back on interstate 75 heading north. The breakfast buffet was being offered all day along with the usual salad bar items and we decided to order this. My wife ate most of her lunch selections from the salad bar and I opted for the breakfast items which were plentiful. However most all of the items that were supposed to be hot were far from it with everything at the lukewarm level. This is the only reason we rated this particular Big Boy a 3 instead of a 4.
