Alfredo's is a welcoming spot in the middle of downtown Clinton. The atmosphere was dark and romantic, yet the clientele was age and seemingly socio-economically diverse. Among those dining at the same time we (an over 50 married couple just passing through town on the way to the beach) were: A group of young men in jeans, tee shirts and ball caps, a well-dressed young family of three, a couple on a date and several men and their wives fresh off the golf course.
The manager (owner?) was attentive and hands-on for his wait staff, and greeting every patron at one point or another. In fact, our salads were delayed so when the waitress realized our entree arrived before the salad, she had the manager deliver our salads and they took back the entree. They didn't just re-heat the entree; they prepared it all over again, which only added to this quality dining experience.
My husband enjoyed a creamy shrimp and grits with a distinct buttery flavor. I decided to go for the basic spaghetti and meatballs. I can honestly say the meatballs were as flavorful as my Nana Raimondi's. And she immigrated from Italy.
Alfredo's offers classic Italian fare as well as pizza. They have an active pizza take-out, as well. The bar is in a separate room behind the main dining area.

Stood in line for 20 minutes and waited no one waited on me. I couldn't get anyone to come to the window, then a woman jumped in front of me and complained about her order, they jumped to help her. Won't go back

The lady taking our order initially had a piss poor attitude, but was friendly towards the end. Management should consider how important first impressions are and focus on better customer service.
The food was okay, but nothing to rave about. I will say we are use to SC BBQ which is quite different. We put sauce on our barbecue meat and hash & rice is a staple which wasn't offered here. Be prepared that they don't carry barbeque sauce, only vinegar. And I make better chicken tenders at home. Also, the honey mustard was not good(store bought). That being said, the homemade potato salad was surprisingly tasty and the BBQ meat itself was good & juicy. If you want real barbecue, I suggest going elsewhere.

"Where Great people go for GREAT FOOD"
We dined here as a family and enjoyed the service and food. Everyone enjoyed their meal; however I cannot give a "5" due to the large number of fried dishes and lack of vegetarian entree choices. The staff was very friendly and the service good.

Stopped here for lunch. Nice clean space. Courteous and efficient staff. Nice selection for lunch that varies from light to really heavy. The prices weren't bad, either. The blackened mahi mahi was a pleasant surprise. Really good. Carrie did a great job taking care of our group.

First, I'd like to acknowledge the excellent service and wait staff...thank you! I ordered a ribeye medium well. It was overcooked, but flavorful. The green beans are absolutely delicious, be sure to try it. I had crab stuffed shrimp as well. It was cooked properly, but lacked a good mix of seasoning. The addition of Old Bay would've made the dish pop. Edit: To start off, we had cheese fries and hush puppies...both are 10 out of 10!

Eat here regularly, if you call in its almost like it's done when they hang up. Food is always hot and fresh. Typical grill fair with fast service and good value. Just as fast as any fast food and way better. Really like the chick fillet sandwich.

This place is authentic Mexican food, no Tex-Mex here, and it's the best in town. I go for lunch once a week usually; I've tried all their tacos but my favorite by far is the spicy brisket. They're hot salsa is actually hot unlike most places I try. Definitely worth a visit but just know that there is not seating here so you have to take it to go.

Not really fair of me to say forget the seafood, because I didn't have it. But I did have some amazing BBQ for a price that will make you crazy! We were in town visiting family, and this is the go to place for them when it comes to BBQ. We picked up the special: 1 lb of BBQ, 1 lb of slaw, and 24 hush puppies for $10.95! We actually got two because we couldn't believe you could feed 4 adults for 10 bucks! We could have, but we also enjoying pigging out (literally) on loads of food. The BBQ was super lean, very juicy, and contained no charred bits which sometimes ruin the overall experience of BBQ. Bad luck is it is SO far away from home! Good luck, we have family and some land in Clinton, so we will be back!

We cut and cook to order choice Ribeyes along with Mahi Mahi, Ahi Tuna, Chicken Breast, Pork Chop, Pork Brisket, Atlantic Salmon, Shrimp, bacon wrapped filet and our in house ground steak burgers. YUM! Enjoy this plus our 40+ item salad bar.
The biggest issue was the service. We had a party of 12 but it was way too much for this group to handle. Even with a reservation. Are drinks stayed empty. Two people didnt get soup. Just not attentive.
The food was not bad though.
Salad bar was really great but it is crammed in between the serving line and a drink station so its hard to navigate.
For the area, it is likely the fanciest restaurant although the dress was nice to casual so it isn't pretentious at all.
Very expensive.
Not sure we will be back.
