This is a local favorite with a good selection of beers, great ambiance and decor with all the sports jerseys hanging from the ceiling, and friendly workers, including the greeter, servers, and porters. There are enough big screen TV's that almost every table has good view. And there's a game room for the young ones. The menu is pretty broad; there should be something there to appeal almost everyone. I had the prime rib Philly; it was tasty and satisfying. And the spinach salad was also very good. I had a taste of the spaghetti and meatballs and found nothing special about it. Overall, Ed's is a solid "go to" place for casual and relaxed meal.

Sweets and ice cream kneaded before your eyes into a delicious treat, placed into a cup or cone. My favorite is Rocky Road with a Chocolate brownie in a waffle cone...

We are a well-established business in Concord; our old-fashioned pasty shop has been located in Concord for over 40 years where we have been baking and crafting delicious confections and fabulous cakes. Alpine’s owners were trained and certified in Switzerland and settled in Concord in 1985. With ten years of working experience at Alpine, the purchase of this delightful Pastry shop was decided in 1995. Outgrowing our location on Clayton road, in 2016 we moved our business to 1848 Willow Pass Road. A bigger and better location and just across from upper Park&Shop. Alpine is one of the last real pastry shops in the area and we are continuing what we do best: dazzling customers with sweet delicacies! Please visit us soon and stop in for coffee and a pastry and check out our new home. Discover the goodness of old fashioned baking & cake crafting with Alpine! The ever-present aroma of freshly baked pastries will gently invoke sweet childhood memories!
I first walked into Alpine to get a cake for my daughters communion celebration. The cake was beautiful and was the best tasting cake anyone at the party tasted. In may I will be walking into Alpine to pick up the cake for my granddaughters communion. Alpine has great customer service, their treats are the best, and their cakes are moist and fresh. This is a local bakery that is worth the travel to taste for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Not much room to sit inside, but since the weather is usually pretty nice around here, it doesn't matter. Great sandwiches on the menu, or they'll build whatever you want. Friendly, locally owned. Another little gem right here in Clayton. Gets pretty busy around lunch time occasionally, might take a few extra minutes to get the goods.

My girlfriends and I had lunch together at La Veranda. We chose this restaurant not only for their delicious food, but also because of the warm and friendly service and its QUIET environment so we could carry on a conversation and be able to actually hear each other! So many of the restaurants now have horrible accustics! Speaking with one another at these restaurants is an impossibility! At La Veranda, we could talk and understand one another! Plus, we love Hugo, the waiter. Hugo is attentive and friendly without being over bearing. For lunch we love their calamari, salads and desserts. The only difficult part of dining at La Veranda is the parking. The lot is small. But, there is plenty of street parking. Also, their happy hour is wonderful!

Moresi's has a special deal on Wednesday nights where they pair a wide selection of appetizers with a small selection of wines by the glass. The wine choices, both red and white, are offered at half the normal price. Appetizers include crab cakes, clams, roasted artichokes, calamari, chips & dip and more. On a warm night is great to join with friends, sit on the deck and enjoy the casual atmosphere and beautiful views.

Jamba Juice has the best smoothies around; everyone else is just trying to match the standard they have set. I enjoy the both the classic smoothies that have non-fat yogurt as well as the all fruit smoothies. I also like that I can watch them put actual fruit into the blender; it's not some dried powder with water added as I've seen in other places. I go there frequently and have always received good service. Even if there is a line of four or five people waiting to order, it isn't that long of a wait to receive my juices because they are so efficient at making them.

I like the flavor of Peet's much, much, more than the big competitor across the street. They roast their beans short of being burnt, giving their coffee a smooth flavor with no bitterness. They have the full range of coffees and teas, both hot and cold. They have a selection of pastries and muffins as well a small selection of sandwiches, yogurt, and cold drinks. This is a popular location and there was a few minute wait at nine o'clock on a weekday morning. The staff was attuned to this and let the customers that they would be served shortly. They have a few easy chairs inside as well as lots of small and larger tables. There is also outdoor seating with shades.

They have a great big outdoor area with heat lamps and TV's. They let us have our dogs with us too! They have delicious pizzas, huge calzones, and pretty great salads too! Service was also excellent.

As good a Starbucks as any but there was no seating. Place was packed mid-morning on a Monday. Had to sit outside under the awning in the rain. Why isn't everybody at work?
