Cafe Lily is a venerable neighborhood bistro offering an eclectic variety of cuisines from around the Mediterranean Sea: Italy, France, Greece, Spain, North Africa, and the Middle East. Established in 1999, Cafe Lily remains the quintessential Decatur restaurant, whether you're looking for a nice, romantic dinner, a celebration party, a large event, to entertain clients, or just some small plates and a nice glass of wine!
Four of us had reservations on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately. One of our party has been dealing with after effects of tongue cancer. She explained her situation to our waitress; no pepper, nothing acidic, nothing spicy. Gor s restsurant known for their Mediterranean marinades, sauces, and spices they were not only accomodating, but our waitress worked with the chef to provide her with a meal that deliciously met her needs. The rest of us shared a cold mezze platter for an appetizer which was excellent. I had the pinchitos - their signature dish and it lived up to it. Our waitress was outstanding. I wish I remembered her name! She knew the menu as well as the specials and made great recommendations. She also staged the meal well. We'll be back.

We have been coming to this restaurant--both this location and the Lilburn location--for over 10 years. It's all about the food--nothing fancy about the location or the atmosphere. And it's not typical "chain" Mexican food with the multiple combinations of tacos, burritos, tostitas, etc. (although you can get them, too): most of the menu consists of traditional dishes, such as chicken with mole sauce (one of my favorites) and burrito pastor. Plenty of meat, chicken, seafood, and vegetarian options, with large portions and reasonable prices. The chips are warm and the salsa is homemade and the servers keep them coming. In fact, the service is very fast across the board, from seating through paying the bill, even through every time we go the place is busy. Even at the height of dinner hour you can be in and out in 45 minutes, or enjoy post-dinner conversation for another hour without hassle. It's our go-to Mexican restaurant.

After some unknown number of visits to McDonalds, Burger King, Einsteins, Chick-fil-A, etc. a person can forget what real food tastes like. I visited this place today and remembered. A breakfast sandwich with pimento, bacon, cheese, scrambled, eggs, and a secret sauce or two on...MoreThank you.. We love when we hit the right taste bud for our guests.. Always trying to get the next best thing right. We hope your GPS finds you in in the Decatur area again soon..

Sometimes I just want to go to a low-key, neighborhood pub to relax, drink a cold beer and eat something worth eating. In a place that is unpretentious and staffed with friendly people. Brockett Pub House and Grill is one of those places. Decent beer list with several rotating local craft selections. REALLY good burgers cooked the way you order them (II can't seem to stop ordering the Patty Melt). And because I'm eating a burger on grilled bread with grilled onions I usually want something healthy for the side. So I order the broccoli. TRUST ME ON THIS. You WANT the broccoli. I've seen people just order a side by itself. Partly it's the garlic. Partly it's the fact that you can't really see if there's butter dripping from it. So mostly you feel virtuous when you eat it. Other selections are also great. Fish and chips. Different varieties of wings. And lots of other selections of really great pub and grill food. I'm becoming a semi-regular. Go there.

Delicious ice cream and desserts, all made in house.
Amazing flavors different to the usual offered by the chains. Taste is amazing and they let you taste as many flavors as you like. Busy but enough staff to speed the ordering process.

We had the following for dinner
1. Paleta Iberico de Bellota
2. Spanish Olives
3. Roasted Mushrooms
4. Patatas Bravas
5. Pork Tenderloin
Atmosphere was great for Valentine's Dinner. The aged iberico was perfect and delicious.
Olives were over the top flavorful
Mushrooms were great
Patatas was our favorite with the sauce. These were hands down our favorite out of all the food.
Tenderloin was cooked perfect.
The wife had a glass of pinot grigio and loved it. I had a few porters.
The porters were a bit pricey, other than that it was an overall great dinner and we will be visiting again sometime soon.

I think it may be one of several Marlow's Taverns in the Atlanta area. It is located inside the Doubletree Hotel
This was our choice for dining two times after very long days. Service was friendly and efficient. The fries were properly seasoned. The sandwiches are large. There are several TVs to look at when conversation lags. I would dine here again if I was in the area.

Stopped into Kathmandu Kitchen and Grill this week after passing it by many times. Overall pleasant experience, we were greeted and brought our drinks immediately, both male and female staff waited on us, and a affordable all you can eat buffet for $7.99, food was good and diverse, many selections. We chose the buffet, and got our food. The restaurant is in a working class area (that sounds harsh sorry), and the restaurant furnishings are basic. I found the large restaurant atmosphere a little lacking, is was a little dark and while clean, and warm (it was a very cold day), it really wasn't inviting...they need more artificial light, a woman's touch maybe? and a way to encourage-improve the natural light. Really that was the only complaint I had. I would stop in again when in the area! If you are in the area, give them a try. Enjoy!

We stood in line for take out on a busy Friday evening. The crew did a great job of moving the process along. We ordered pulled pork, ribs, and some sides. Everything was VERY GOOD ! except for the ribs. They were a bit tough and chewy, but real good flavor.
The next day I called, and was greeted by Sarah who took the time to explain the rib cooking process, and apologized for the inconvenience. She offered to put us on the " mishap list" that entitled us to replacement ribs at our next visit. That is how a restaurant should be run. We are looking forward to our next "Q" visit. In fact we purchased a gift certificate for my daughter while we were in the area.
