My daughter lives in Cisco & we've eaten at Dairy Queen, but not in the past year or so since the building was refurbished. The interior enhances the casual dining experience & has a nice flow to it. Am guessing maybe fifteen tables or booths. The menu is identical to that of other DQs in this region, as is preparation. Very convenient for those traveling Interstate 20, just north of the exit for US Hwy 183 & State Hwy 6.

Stopped by Waverly's Coffee Shop for a quick breakfast while in Cisco for the weekend. The coffee shop is housed in an older building on the main street and is unique. Coffee is prepared only upon order with fresh hand-ground beans, and is very good. We each ordered the Two Egg Taco, which come with a variety of fillings and which were quite tasty and good for a quick bite.
The decor of the shop is unique with quite a display of toys, games, and various sodas, candies and other goods which I had not seen for quite a few years. The menu is on a large board above the counter where orders are taken and offers a variety of sandwiches, small dishes, waffles and drinks. A good place to visit for a quick bite in a friendly, unique environment.

We enjoy coming to lunch here after church. You'll find a variety of Mexican food with some American food sprinkled in. There's a small salad bar with fresh fruit and usually cake and banana pudding for dessert. My favorite is the chili relleno! Yum!

They won't after you eat here. Place was clean and the staff uniformly friendly. Food was large and a bit greasy. They had a couple slogans. "Conquering one diet at a time." "The bigger you are, the harder you are to kidnap." Most other restaurants in the area are chain-type, so this place has
an advantage.

Great pizza in a modest, relatively small restaurant. Has a nice, friendly vibe, and the locals seem to patronize it in good numbers (always a promising indicator).

About one of three visits to this Denny's has been satisfactory. When we go, we know it is a gamble if the food or service will be good. Good hands are hard to come by nowadays and they do have a few.

Chicken Express is conveniently located for travelers on Interstate Hwy 20 along the north frontage road near the Hwy 183 exit. The menu includes chicken, fish & soft serve vanilla ice cream. It's not a large place, but seating is ample (eight tables & ten booths). Orders are taken at a counter and delivered to the table.
My order of six chicken livers seemed larger and was well-prepared (as were the French fries). Another in our party had a small fish combo & was quite satisfied, as were the two who had chicken combos. A nice selection of side dishes from which to choose.
Service was friendly and prompt. The chicken livers (presumably ordered infrequently & thus not precooked) caused a slight delay (less than five minutes).

JC's serves quality steaks and seafood, as well as American comfort cuisine! We are located in the Myrtle Wilks Community Center right off of Interstate 20 in Cisco. We serve breakfast and lunch during the week in the deli area, preparing made from scratch breakfast and amazing soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees for lunch. At night on Tue-Sat we open up the Steakhouse at 5 p.m. You will not find a better ribeye or filet anywhere for miles and miles! We also have an excellent chicken fry, fresh pasta, meatloaf, and many other menu items to choose from. Please come try us out, we are on the access road of I-20 at exit 330 in Cisco, inside the Myrtle Wilks Community Center.
This was a surprise find! While in Cisco for the weekend we searched the area for a restaurant which might differ from the usual and found, on Facebook, JC's Steakhouse. JC's has only been open for one month and is still trying to increase local...MoreWow that is a great review! Thank you for the kind words! We may be a little hard to find for first time customers, but as you can see we are worth the search! Please come see us again next time you are in town!

First things first! All four of the people in my party raved about the eggrolls. The entrees were well prepared and agreeable in taste, and the presentation was simple but appealing. Orders are taken at a single reception desk from printed menus (incorporating a somewhat modified fast food template within a mid-range sit-down non-franchise establishment). Service was friendly, helpful & presumably family. The small dining area was bright, clean and uncluttered.
Orders are delivered from the kitchen to the table, and in our instance they were delivered one at a time with perhaps a minute or two (at most) between deliveries. All four of us chose from dinner combination plates costing (in March 2015) less than $8 each; a lunch special offers plates for under $6. With fountain drinks the total for four persons was just under $39 (or about $9.70 per person).
You can also order separate items a la carte. Each combination plate includes one eggroll, and at least for our small group that tipped the balance. If you've been paying attention to this review, you know those eggrolls were a big hit with us.

My wife and I have stopped at this Subway twice on travels between Midland and Dallas/Fort Worth. We like that it's in its own building and not in a gas station like so many others. Both times we were greeted upon entering and our orders were filled quickly. The employees seem well trained on making the sandwiches as well as tallying everything in the register at checkout. Our only complaint is the bathrooms could be better maintained. We'll likely stop back again if we're passing through the area at lunchtime.
