The interior is eclectic with various things like soaps, beauty products, and organic foods. There is some seating in the cafe and we were able to grab a table. Our sandwiches were prepared to order and tasted great. Loved my ham and Swiss and my partner loved the roast beef. Very filling. We will stop here again! Tasty!!

Bringing the great pies of the south to New England! We use close to home ingredients to make your pie extra special
This wholesome little shop on the Chester Village Green is wonderful. Everything tastes like your grandmother made it...unless your granny was a terrible cook...then it tastes like someone else's granny made it. Have to say that of the three types I've tried I'm still stuck on apple, although nothing has disappointed.

For a non-local, it was a little difficult to find this gem, on the way north of Chester Center. When you see the flag stop! There is a vine covered trellis entrance, we missed it the first time we pulled In.The building looked like a deserted barn, but after finding the entrance, when you open the door you are overwhelmed with the heavenly fragrance of baking bread and goodies. I am so glad we found this spot. They do serve lunch, but we did not do that.

This is a real diner - not a classy, expensive restaurant with fancy decor - just a real diner where you get the kind of good, home-made food you depend on at a reasonable price. Whether you want a solid breakfast, quality, lunch, or something...MoreThank you for the kind words!!! Sorry about the steps we sand as much as we can, winter can be harsh on us Vermonters!

My husband and I driving back to Maine, stopped for an overnight at a B&B.The owner of the B&B suggested this place. Absolutely loved it ! Very seldom do you get everything in a restaurant. The atmosphere, the greeting from the host, sweet waitress, add the music & fresh creative food & you have a success story. I give this place five stars.
We started with the butternut squash soup, the beet salad and vegetarian gnocchi
a couple of draft IPA's and left with a smile.

An authentic Scottish Pub serving a varied menu for the whole family, well known for the wide variety of Scottish Ales and Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
We were traveling and looking for a place to watch the Pats while enjoying a nice beer with a meal. Wow, did we luck out! This was a treat. The beer was great, the food was great and the atmosphere was homey and warm. We had the Haggis Taster and Scotch eggs, both of which were excellent. The pot roast special was tender and delicious, and the Auld Reekie Stew was just the right spicy and loaded with veggies. We watched the game muted but didn't mind as the Scottish background music was a nice touch.

Stopped here for lunch. Loved the Christmas decorations inside and the friendly workers in the restaurant. Our wings were tasty and we loved our pizza. The pizza was really tasty and the price was reasonable. The premade pizza selections were interesting and the beer selection on tap was also excellent. Draft beers were reasonably priced for higher end beers too. We will come back when we are in the area again!

We had dinner here again and it was excellent. We all had sushi, so yummy. I had Omakase Chirashi Zushi, I loved it all. Do not forget to order the green tea ice cream, one of the best ones I have had in a while.

The Heritage is a great place for a casual lunch. It serves a wide variety if deli sandwiches and offers excellent food. I tried their breakfast sandwich with provolone cheese and bacon in a wrap - fantastic! And, they offer truly good coffee. It's a good place to stop with the kids or couples. Staff is friendly and helpful. Oh, and they serve great pies if you need a dessert.

We came across this place in quaint Chester, quite by accident, but sitting out on the porch of this old Inn looked so enticing we couldn't resist stopping. Although it was just 1pm they were already out of chicken so we opted for burgers which were excellent. Chips and a pickle completed our meal, along with iced tea. With tip about $35, so very reasonable. It was a fun stop.
