Brunch on a Friday. Spacious restaurant, big crowd, some outdoor seating. Large menu. HUGE portions justify the $$. I would need to fast for a day to be able to eat an entire portion.

A great place to come in the summer and enjoy some excellent BBQ. The pulled pork, baked beans, and potato salad are all great. It's definitely the best in the area. Seating is all outdoor under a large pavilion. Cash only. Try to come slightly before the dinner rush, around 5, as the lines get very long!

I can't say enough how much we enjoy Salamone's. We are regulars there and have become friends with many of the staff. The pizza is by far our favorite with pan being the best with fresh garlic and sausage. You can't go wrong by stopping at Salamone's. You will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for an early Sunday evening dinner with friends. We all picked from their Specials menu and were delighted. My baked mostacholi was the best I have had.
Very slow in the restaurant, as was our waiter. Great food, but service didn't meet expectations for this place.

We love this restaurant for its excellent Italian food. The pizza and pasta are wonderful. It draws a family oriented crowd with it's easygoing attitude, very reasonable prices, neat decor and prompt service. Only downside is the staff can lack energy and appear complacent.

While on business in Rockford I spotted this Mexican restaurant across from the Cherry Valley Mall. They were very accomidating to my desire to have a vegan meal and the food was really good (veggie fajitas). Everything tasted fresh-made and was served hot. Service was prompt and friendly and during my visit they had a $2.99 Margaretta drink specil! Happy camper.

Located in the heart of the Village of Cherry Valley, IL. We are right off of Hwy 39/90 & US Hwy 20 about two miles from CherryVale Mall. It's a great place to come and enjoy our outdoor deck seating or step inside our bar area or dining room for a fantastic meal any time! We are a block away from beautiful Baumann Park bring the family out for a great time!
Cherry Valley is a very small community about 1 mile, East on Harrison Ave., from Cherryvale Mall. This little restaurant and bar (bar is seperated from restaurant) has the best Onion Rings, the best rack of ribs, the best Prime Rib, whether it be sandwiches or a small, or regular meal, you will not be dissappointed. Our senior citizen brunch is there about every 4 months (monthly meal). We can't get enough eating there. My wife and I eat there every week at least once.. we have our birthdays there and know it will be great. They have a wide selection of items on the menu (this is the original Backyard Grill & Bar, of the Rockford, Loves Park, Roscoe area). Neither one of us drink so I can't help you on that area. Summer time, they have an outside patio.
Call ahead if you are having a larger group as the dining room is small as compared to the Loves Park and Roscoe locations. Same great food as them.
Enjoy, and tell them Santa sent you.

We come every year for an Icehogs game and spend the night in town. We wanted to try a new place to have a late lunch so we decided to come here. It is tucked back off the main drag, but the building is beautiful on the outside. When we arrived we were seated promptly and served in great time. We ordered the deep fried bacon (just had to try it). It was so rich and delicious. Only problem was that there was a tortilla chip attached to one of the pieces of bacon (it had been fried and refried) you can see it in the picture below. Made me think how it was missed when they took it out. No big deal, because it was really good. At our table we had one who ordered the filet mignon, I ordered the sea scallops with risotto, and my husband got a hamburger. Wait staff was perfect in timing, and our food was really good except.... My risotto was like paper mache paste. It was so gross I could not eat it at all (you can see in my picture). The scallops were some of the best but 4 (on the smallish side) scallops (very tender) but the lemon butter sauce really had no flavor and mushy gross risotto for $25 was very disappointing. I left hungry. On the other side the steak and the burger were very good. The potatoes with the steak were outstanding. I would have given this an excellent rating if only my dish was better. I would go back but would stay clear of the scallops and order a steak.

Rachel served us and she was very attentive, the food was great and my wife loved the biker theme. The servings were very generous,we did not leave hungry. The atmosphere was quaint and appropriate.and like everyone else we went right to the harley store connected to the store

I was kind of skeptical of this place because there was no Trip Advisor review. However, a good friend told us that if there are a lot of cars there, it must be good. There were lots of cars so we went in.
It was a diner like setting. Many older folks. Busy.
The service was quick and friendly.
Our meals came out in good time and were very fresh. I had a tuna stuffed tomato and my husband had a party melt. Portions were adequate. My only complaint was the tomato was not ripe.
Water and coffee was filled regularly.
Prices very fair.
