About 30 minutes from Birmingham city is one of the most authentic Mediterranean restaurants I have eaten at.
My husband and I started with piping hot falafels on a lettuce and tomato salad with pickled beetroot and cucumbers. Combined with the excellent humus and pita chips, it was extremely tasty.
Our main course of the beef kebab and mixed vegetable plate along with tabouli salad was fresh and well prepared. A lot of delicious food.
The service was quick, efficient and everyone was very friendly.
Give this place a try - you won't be sorry!!

You get a lot of food, good food, for your money. I was looking forward to the peach cobbler but it wasn't peaches and crust more like peaches and bread. Other than that we enjoyed our meal and the friendly, good service.

Southern food at its finest. We serve barbecue (ribs/pork/chicken), burgers, hamburger steaks, fried catfish and chicken, vegetables and deserts for dine-in, carry-out, and catering.
They have the best b'cue available in this area. The food is reasonable and tastes great. This is a most stop when traveling in this great Southern town.

Lucky for us it's also good Thai. On my first visit I had drunken noodles with shrimp, a favorite of mine. The portion was decent, lots of shrimp. Pinto Thai does something other restaurants don't, they remove the tails so you don't have to, brilliant!
Second visit I ordered Tom Yum. It usually comes as a full meal in other Thai restaurants. I was disappointed in the portion I received, a small bowl more fitting as a side order than a full meal. It lacked the lemon grass flavor I enjoy.
Super friendly service.
I'm trying shrimp Pad Thai tonight.

We are a fine dining establishment, with an ambient candlelit atmosphere, serving authentic Italian food.
Absolutely wonderful. I've had Italian food at a lot of different restaurants in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, etc., and I do not believe I have had any better food anywhere - it is that good.jadams, Thank you very much! We appreciate the kind words immensely! We hope for the chance to serve you again!

I live in Ohio but own property in Harpersville, every time we come down we always eat her. It's a small pizza place in a strip mall but I just love their pizza. I also like their greek salad. If in Chelsea, give them a try.

Located in a growing area of suburban Hwy 280, just 10 minutes east of Hwy 119, this restaurant offers good food at fair prices. I have enjoyed this restaurant in other locations throughout this area for years. Good chips and salsa, fajitas, and tacos.
Good service.

This past Sunday, we visited a Johnny Ray's for the first time in years. We arrived at 1PM and so we were able to choose from the wide selections on the lunch menu. All the entrees are $7.99 at lunch which is everyday of the week I believe. I ordered a BBQ pork plate and my wife had the fried chicken dinner. Each dinner came with two sides and then we topped everything off with a piece of their delicious lemon pie. This was a good experience. The place was not overly crowded and the service was prompt. The BBQ was very good, the fried chicken was a piece of boneless chicken that looked more like a patty, but my wife liked it. We'll go back.

I left the Wendy's next door (along with 3 others) because the line was at a stand still and walked over to Whataburger hoping for a better experience. It took 9 minutes to get my chicken sandwich and fries. At least the lettuce and tomato on the sandwich were fresh. The chicken is semi-processed and does not have a fresh chicken taste. Fries were less than hot. When I initially poured my tea, I left the staff know they were out. (I got half a cup.) 25 minutes later, they had still had not refilled it. The front counter was left unstaffed at least a couple of times while I was there, even though people were standing in line waiting to order. After getting my food, I discovered they had no ketchup in the dining room, so I had to go back to the counter, wait in line and then get ketchup. My impression is the staff has not been adequately trained and management is lacking. I do not plan to return.

I've ordered from the drive-thru and ate dinner inside as well and the food is very consistently good. Tables, floors and bathrooms are kept very clean. Buffet is not as plentiful as others we have been to, but ordering from the menu is worth the money. Drive-thru can be slow so it's best to call ahead!
