We selected Evelyn Bay Coffee Shop solely on other Trip Advisor reviews & were not disappointed (We were in Charlotte for a funeral). Judy provided friendly, helpful service -- & prepared a very veggie-filled Veggie Wrap, which was delicious! The Grilled Cheese Panini was also good. My husband & I met friends for lunch here & were able to enjoy a leisurely lunch while visiting. The restaurant is spacious and features local art work.

OMG! This place is SO good. Fast, friendly service and the sandwiches are always piled high with meat on homemade bread. The cheese bread is OUTSTANDING! I love the NY Reuben, the Kramer, and the Roosevelt. Someday I'll muster up the courage to try the Liverwurst & Onion...hahaha!

Hey it's DQ, but I have to say that the staff this year has been great. Extremely helpful and nice. There's just something to say about great customer service. The ice cream's good, too ;)

This coffee shop is a great place to get a cup of fresh brewed coffee. They also have baked goods for sale. And if you can get there before 11 am ask for their breakfast sandwich. I have had none better than here. The sausage is fresh and the bread is homemade. This is an Amish store so don't be surprised if you see a horse and buggy tied up in front. You really have to try this place. 5 out of 5 stars rating.

I had a take out order with a problem and my waitress had to be the most spoiled and witchy person I have come across in a long time. The food was ok, the lack of professionalism on behalf of this women will definitely stop me from ever coming into this restaurant ever again.

We were driving on I-69 and saw a lot of billboards advertising Biggby Coffee. We hadn't ever heard of it before and wanted a coffee so we thought we'd try something new. We ordered a Mint Mocha, a Butter Bear and a frozen hot chocolate with whipped cream for the kid. Everyone liked their drink. Not sure how unhealthy they were, but they were all really good. We will definitely stop there again when we're in the area.

This location serves as a central for our scattered family. And, it never disappoints. While we usually have lighter fare than their scrumptious buffets and pies, many enjoy those. I've tried varieties of foods, ranging from soup-salad-sandwich, through larger plates of chicken. Working my way up to steaks & chops kind of slowly.
Come here, eat, enjoy yourselves.

Wish this place were in my neighborhood. First time I've been through Charlotte in awhile and I forgot how much I missed Riedy's pizza until that very first bite. OMG. Perfect crust. Perfect sauce. Perfect flavor. I could do a commercial. Personally I ask for my favorite, thin crust (they make fresh dough on site EVERY day and it shows).
Call ahead if you want to avoid loud event nights like karaoke, trivia or bands although you can always sit on the restaurant side when these events are happening on the bar side (it's like two restaurants in one!). Also, don't be fooled by all the beer taps and extensive choice of alcohol & wine. The restaurant side is still very family friendly (I've seen high chairs, booster seats and even waitresses handing out crayons!). Seems like there's always at least one big family table celebrating something and having a good time.

I was visiting family from England last year and visited Cottage Inn and was amazed at the super-friendly staff as well as the quality toppings that come with your pizza. Mark (the owner) did everything to accommodate our needs. thanks to you all !!

Price is right, good value, good flavor. Don't ask for their very hottest hot sauce, unless your insane! My friend, however, loved it! I think they have 8 or 9 vegetarian meals also. I especially like their pork carnitas. They are really tasty and tender and served with tortillas, so I wind up full and taking some home. Good drinks, good beer selection. The staff is very hospitable and seem to enjoy being there! I had a chicken tamale in a combo meal that had the chicken on the outside. I couldn't really tell if there was some chicken inside or not. I have always found that combo meals are my least favorite at any Mexican restaurant as everything seems pushed together and covered in flavor smothering sauce and cheese. Be adventurous, spend a dollar or two extra and go for their more special plates.
