Voted the best Italian in the Oregon coast, little Italy prepare dishes from fresh ingredients. Serving pastas, chicken breast, veal, fish, seafood, pizza, vegetarians and gluten free dishes located in the historical chandler building in coos bay, the interior is inviting and Italian feel. Large selection of wines and a full bar. Accepting all major credit cards. Banquet room for 50 guest available, no charges for the room.
Housed downtown in the 1903 Chandler Hotel, the restaurant offers a nice setting for an excellent dining experience. Based on good reviews, we were expecting to enjoy our dinners, but the food and service far exceeded our high expectations. A real plus for us was the Senior Menu that offered fine dining at a significantly reduced cost of $12-13 for an entree, salad, and bread. Normally senior meals are smaller, but hubby's chicken parmigiana with perfectly cooked vegetables and spaghetti filled the large plate. My Manicotti Florentine was smaller in size, but so rich and filling I couldn't have eaten another bite. If we lived in Coos Bay, we'd return frequently.

My husband and I were camping in nearby Bastendorff Beach Park. The park's caretaker recommended this pub. And, that is what it is. It is a sports bar and pub. The food was truly just okay at best. They are however, very busy. I think a lot of locals come here to watch games on television.

Our bakery is a variety of fresh baked goods every day that include our special recipe of red velvet cake, we have cinnamon rolls, turnovers, danish, brownies, cookies, eclairs, cream puffs, Full Espresso bar with espresso from Portland Roasting Coffee, we also do custom cake orders for any occasion. If you are here and want to have a special desert for a dinner just order a day in advance,
honestly, we werent impressed. among us all we tried a lemon blueberry sourdough 'donut' (dried out and bland like an old cake), a chocolate maple bar (same) a cheese danish (not very good- it was more like bread than pastry- no flake at all), and a peanut butter cookie (also quite dry). i dont think anyone finished theirs, deciding it wasnt worth the sugar/carbs...
coffee was just passable, though not very hot (was cold before i finished mine- which never happens to me!)
service was friendly, but very slow. .mom' helped us at the counter and was quite nice, but it took a while. took them forever to break my 50$ bill even though i asked ahead if they could and offered to charge it instead. maybe thats why my coffee got cold...

A small coffee shop with fresh roasted coffee and fine teas--all organically grown and fairly traded. Limited food menu includes local packaged seafood soups, pastries, cookies, and Oregon Oats cups. Espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, hot chocolate, lemonade, and our special Charleston chai lattes round out the beverage menu. Indoor and outside seating available. Free Wi-Fi.
We needed a bathroom break on the way out to the Arago state park so stopped off at the little commercial building that contained the Bayside. indeed, there was a bathroom and we also got a couple of very nice espresso drinks. Friendly people. Worth...MoreSo glad you found us! Thanks for the great review!

Located at the heart of Coos Bay Oregon, the Blue Heron Bistro is a small-town German restaurant serving traditional German food, local seafood, and more.
Great find in the middle of Coos Bay. Very short walk from the Best Western hotel. Good and eclectic wine list. We shared the fondue as a starter. excellent.
Normally, we each try something different for our main meal, just in case one of them isn't good but this time we both ordered the vispannetje - fisherman's stew. It was absolutely great and we had enough left over for lunch the next day. highly recommended - both the restaurant and that particular dish.
Also, there is a book for sale written by the previous owner - it's really worth buying too.

Best Bacon Cheeseburgers in town!!!
We LOVE this real food diner. They have figured it all out.....the best burgers, salads, brisket sandwiches, you name it!
Don’t let the name or appearance of this classic building dissuade you. Very reasonable prices and large portions.
You cannot find better food within 50 miles!

This place has a few bar stools inside and a drive through. Don't let that fool you. This is a place with great baked goods and sandwiches. They also have excellent biscuits and gravy. The menu is limited, but has quite a few items plus coffees, all kinds, and tea.
Everything we had was freshly made and the prices are great. Give it a try, you won't be sorry. Wish it was bigger.

I saw some good reviews on this bakery and decided to try it. They had a huge variety of baked goods including breads, pastries, cookies and deserts. They also have frozen products for purchase. I came home with frozen mushroom ravioli that I can't wait to try. I also got sourdough that was fantastic and homemade granola. They were offering samples of pumpkin cheesecake which I don't usually like but this was really good.

We have never actually gone to the store, but have ordered their canned seafood for several years. They will ship whatever amount you want in their canned items. The salmon, tuna & smoked items are so very good. We just placed another order yesterday. Very friendly and happy to do so.
