Had a couple of friends recommend trying this place, so on the way back from the airport, pulled in to Lallo's for dinner. Ordered the Burrito and Taco plates. Service was good, waitress kept coming by to check on us and the food came relatively quickly. The food was OK, there was a fair quantity of it, we took some home in containers. This is a bar/restaurant with music playing fairly loudly. We enjoyed the selection of feel good rock/country songs that were playing. There are other Mexican restaurants closer to home that are as good or have some better dishes than what we ordered, so unless we happen to be near here, might not travel back to eat out here. Good place for locals.

Ordered the fried chicken, and it was good. They do a very good job of keeping the chicken very moist without drying it out. However there is really no spices or herbs in the batter. The pineapple cheesecake was delicious. Service was fine but they really need to turn the lights up a bit because it's really a little too dark inside.

Craving coffee for the last couple of hours. Was looking for a specialty coffee shop, but wanted to grab a large cup sooner than later. You know, the coffee at this Dunkin' Donuts is actually quite good. Reasonably priced, and the service was excellent.

My kids and I enjoy semi-regular stops at this local ice cream stop. Creamery is a local favorite that serves a variety of sweet treats

Pesciolino Osteria is a great new restaurant recently opened in Channahon. The owners have the successful Big Fish Grille, Morris Chop Shop and Big Bash Catering. All of the pastas and mozzarella are homemade and delicious! A must have is the Heirloom Tomato Insalata. Don't come expecting tavern food like pizza or burgers. This area has been waiting for a Fine Dining Italian Restaurant and may finally have one!

We four (older) women biked across Illinois and were always happy to find amenities close to the trails. This Subway beckoned from just 100 feet or so from the I&M Canal Trail. The location was clean and the people friendly. There was plenty of seating for us and the many other patrons.
The servers were cheerful and generous with the extras on your sandwich. I ordered the $5 special: Turkey with pepper jack cheese and lots of toppings. It came with chips. Filled me up well.
You can usually depend upon a Subway to be good and this location did not disappoint.

My girlfriend and I had lunch here on January 17, 2018. We ordered Bloody Marys and there was way too much Worcestershire added. No biggie, just take it back and fix it. However, their policy is to charge the customer for a 2nd drink! WHAT?? Then, to punish us, the food server held our food hostage for at least 15 minutes. We could see our food sitting in the kitchen lights. Now, that being said, the manager at least tried to make good on all this nonsense.
The food is actually good, but come prepared to do battle if you get the wrong server. Not sure if anyone from Heroes will take this girl to task over her attitude.
