We were staying on Oacoma on the way home to Wisconsin (coming from Wyoming) and we needed a place to eat. In some ways this place reminded me of a mini Wall drug. We didn't linger long in the stores, but they had a lot of different things.
My husband and boys got steak and burgers, respectively, which they enjoyed. I wasn't in the mood for a heavy meal, so I got a bowl of beef noodle soup which was surprisingly flavorful, and a salad from the salad bar, which was good but average.
The funniest thing was when we were opening our napkins. They were sealed with paper rings, and when I opened mine, somebody had written "One does not simply walk into Mordor" on the back. Nobody else had writing on theirs, and since I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan I was highly amused. I forgot to ask about it though.

A little item on their menu that is wonderful... Fresh, lots of chicken and nicely flavored... We ate there several times while staying in a local motel. This DQ was nice and large, very clean. Good staff, friendly and welcoming. Service was good...

We are an independent, full-service, family friendly restaurant, serving beer & wine. We have appetizers, salads, pastas, sandwiches, burgers & desserts, besides Pizza & Wings. We also have Vegan/Vegetarian and Gluten Free options. We offer a party/conference room for larger groups by reservation. In the spring, summer and early fall, weather permitting, we have an Upper Deck with a beautiful view of the Highway 16, American Legion Memorial Bridge on the Missouri River.
ThIs place is right across the street from e Best Western so arriving in to town late we decided to just eat here. We ordered wings - which are really drumettes. Husband said they were ok. I ordered breadstick ff. They're just breadsticks. Skip ordering these. Our pizza was a supreme - very few ingredients compared to what you think should be on a supreme. 4 groups came in after us and all got their food before us. Wait staff seed very overwhelmed as there were 8 tables at any one time and 3 waitresses. They did acknowledge our pizza took longer than necessary so we didn't have to pay for it. I would have rather had a better pizza and paid for it.

The menu looks a lot better than the food. My first mistake was ordering the breakfast buffet. It was terrible. Whatever you do, order breakfast ala carte and made fresh. That night our pheasant hunters had a large table and all of us were disappointed with our meal. I couldn't eat the walleye it was so bland. The steaks were thin and overcooked and not of very good quality. By the way, the bartenders in the bar are rude and uninterested in serving.

We stayed one night in Chamberlain. Tried the Anchor grill for dinner and liked it enough to come back for breakfast. Friendly service and good food. Plus a full bar.

My husband and I always stop at Charley's when we are in town. Don't expect East Coast swank because this is a farm town. The steak is HUGE and always well cooked, and prepared the way you want it. The fish is hit or miss, but no one goes here for that. The home town atmosphere is very typical of small towns, so if you expect a big city type eatery, you will not be satisfied. Instead, order the steak, sit back and relax, and enjoy this place for what it is... a hometown mid-west restaurant.

I was looking forward to stopping in Arby's for their seasonal Pecan chicken salad wrap. When I got there, they had their drive through closed, blocked off with a garbage can. Then I couldn't find any parking close enough (I had two dogs in the car, didn't really want to leave them for any length of time), and knowing that even if I waited for parking, there is always a line and a long wait for the food here it seem, so I just got back on the highway and drove on. Didn't find another place to stop to eat though until I got to Rapid City. Their Arby's had a drive through open, had a wonderfully pleasant worker that took my order and the food was very good!
I entered an "average" rating, because their service really takes away from a good rating.

Anything is better than Al's Oasis lately. The food wasn't too bad but it's s bar. The waitress was a barmaid and seemed disappointed that our six top all ordered food. The restaurant part I guess was closed since we were herded into the bar. The music was so loud we couldn't even talk without yelling.
The food overall wasn't bad but dancers did the two step as we ate. Hahahha
We ate at 8pm. C grade. That's it.

This place is your average hole in the wall bar. It was dirty, and the music was so loud you have to yell in order to hear the person across the table and sometimes right next to you. However, the drinks are good and there is pool, darts, foosball in the back area if you wish to play a round or two.

Most Subway's are fairly consistent. Granted, we did stop just before they closed here but the food wasn't very good. We had ordered the new chicken salad sandwich and it ended up in the trash. On the first bite, some unknown piece of brown gristle or mystery meat was in the sandwich.
