Old style pizza place that makes you think you are in Chicago or New York. They have all the favorite food from an Italian eating establishment

First this is the best coffee in the area by far but the outlet has a lot to be desired. Not many places to sit students are camping with computers taking up space for long periods of time. The outdoor sitting is like something you would fine at a camp ground. Enjoy sitting with and old friend she was not upset because she is used to going here. All I can say is I can't wait to get back to Asia the coffee outlets are 100% better.

This cupcake stand has a nice variety of cupcakes with catchy names. The cupcakes were pretty good but felt a little 'homemade' for a cupcake business. Be aware that there are only some outside chairs for seating. (The place is more along the line of a snow cone stand.) It is nice to have a cupcake place in this area even if they could be improved on a bit, and I like its funky vibe that goes with downtown Cedar Hill.

Traveling on business I stopped in for dinner alone. Food quality was very good as was the service. Menu was limited. The only fish was catfish and salmon. I had blackened salmon and it was very good - cooked perfectly. Beer was ice- cold and prices very reasonable.
If you are looking for any other kind of fish but catfish, salmon or cod you won't get it here. However the food you do get is very good.

I ordered the chicken fried steak, which was very good. I enjoy the sorghum molasses on the rolls - I don't know another place that offers this kind of molasses. I like the salad because it just has vinegar and oil on it. My favorite sides are the mashed potatoes and the green beans - absolutely delicious. I dined here with a work group and we were served efficiently.

We are happy to serve our hometown, Cedar Hill, after serving Dallas for over 25 years. Please join us for breakfast or lunch (or both)! We also would love to do your catering for any event! We hope to see you soon!
Very good chicken fried steak, huge breakfasts. This place isn't fancy, it's just a very good home cooking place without any bells or whistles. It's very close to some medical offices, and it can definitely get crowded for lunch on weekdays.

Veracruz was conveniently close to La Quinta, so we gave it a try. Right away we felt welcomed. Diego brought us a generous basket of chips and menus with something other than the usual Mexican dishes. Even the standards, tacos and enchiladas, had unusual sauces and combinations. My husband tried a chicken dish with an unusual tomato based sauce that we had never tasted before. I had three chicken enchiladas, each with a different sauce over the top. The ground pumpkin seed was okay, but the mole is still my favorite.

This Cotton Patch restaurant in Cedar Hill is newly remodeled (less than 12 months ago). The new look of the place is more modern while still keeping some examples of Cedar Hill history on their walls and throughout the restaurant. Our waiter this particular visit was Aaron and he was very helping and effective without being overbearing. The food here is always great and very tasty. We usually start off with the chips and quest which is one of our favorites. The menu here is very nice with many options, including a healthy section if you are trying to stay fit. Portion sizes for most menu items are very large and the sides are excellent as well. From the chicken fried steak to multiple seafood platters, there is a variety of entrees to choose from. This particular Cotton Patch is very busy most of the time and typically has a more than average wait time. They are always clean inside and it is a very pleasing atmosphere to enjoy your meal. If you haven't eaten too much or even if you have, try the coconut cream pie, it's a winner. Very pleased with the comfort food here and we highly recommend to anyone looking to enjoy good food in a nice restaurant.

We eat here regularly. The sushi is always good. Incredible rolls earn the name. Jalapeño rolls are very good too.

Last night our bridge group discovered a delightful new restaurant, Orabis Grill & Bar. We can not begin to describe the wonderful food. All items ordered were outstanding!
