All the reviews written have said it already but I'll say again. This is some of the best BBQ around anywhere. I've had some good BBQ brisket but this is definitely right up there with ANY of the best. The platter was awesome with PLENTY of meat. I had the baked beans and French fries which were the 2 sides I got to accompany the platter. They've got a good selection of beers and a full service bar as well so there's plenty to wash down your meal. The interior is kind of funky as it was built inside an old gas station / garage. I was satisfied with my meal and I'm SURE to return for more.

I almost gave a third star just because the staff are so nice. But I can't. Home cooking? Not. I recognize mushy freezer to grill potatoes when I see them. Why, America can't you cut or shred your own potatoes!
Milkshake was good. Huge portions of food to match the size of most of the patrons. Blah coffee. Decent price. Bad food.
Shame. The resto is in a heritage building. Casper is full of brown, greasy huge portions

Food was ok, im a picky eater ordered crispy hash browns and the are loaded with cheese, I don't like cheese do to me that was gross, server never came back to check on us, well try this place once more with a different order, they didn't even bring my husband what he ordered, would have been nice to let someone know but they didn't seem to care.

I was actually a little disappointed in Fire Rock. I was expecting something awesome. I think the biggest disappointment was that my boyfriend ordered the the steak and crab and the crab came out very dry and very salty. It was absolutely terrible. Some of the worst crab I've ever had in a restaurant. And of course, it was extremely expensive.
The service was good and I enjoyed my meal but a restaurant that is supposed to be of this quality and caliber and charging the prices they charge should definitely know how to cook crab if they are going to have it on their menu. Stick to steak if the chefs don't know how to cook crab or if the restaurant isn't capable of getting quality crab.

Silver Fox has been a locally owned restaurant for 35 years. We pride ourselves on our customers being like family. Our atmosphere can be p[rivate or we can also rpovide an open dinig experience. We have a long standing staff and customer base. We always strive to do our best to be a great part of our community.
If you’re a meat and potatoes kind of person, then this is the place to get a super high quality quintessential Wyoming meal. I suppose you can take your vegetarian friend with you as I did see a cauliflower “steak” on the menu, but they’d be missing out by forgoing a carnivorous meal! I loved that this restaurant has a fine dining side as well as a sports bar, and while the parking lot was packed, there was immediate seating at 7 pm on Saturday night. As we were coming in from a day on the river and still in our fishing clothes, we open for the sports bar where the atmosphere was lively, and TVs had all the baseball and college football we could want. We were chilly from the day’s adventures, but the onion soup was the perfect way to warm up! Because it was my boyfriend’s birthday, we went big- the calamari appetizer was super good, the steaks incredible (I had the ribeye and he had the blackened prime rib), and they didn’t let us leave without some birthday mud pie! All of this plus a drink each, and the bill was only $100! You can’t get a steak dinner of this quality anywhere for that price! The fabulous food and friendly service won us over; we’ll return whenever our adventures take us to Casper!

Enjoyed our visit here, great music, and the service was excellent. My husband and I went here for a date night, and had a cozy booth to ourselves.

I came in to eat last Sunday for brunch, with a friend. I had the milano pizza, which was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Our waitress, Aftin was bubbly and attentive. She was very informative of the restaurant and it's endless qualities. I will definitely be visiting again soon!

Our large group was seated promptly, and received good service. The menu is typical of a diner, and had wide-ranging choices. We enjoyed the onion rings, and the sandwiches and burgers were tasty and well-plated. My wife liked her grilled chicken salad, and the hot chicken tenders were declared too spicy of the youngest in our group. The prices were very reasonable, and we all left happy.

Eaten here many many times. More of a girlie place for a quiet visit, smaller portions and more gourmet type foods. My husband wouldn't be full but I always am. Nice atmosphere, great wait staff and food is consistently good no matter what I've chosen. The Chicken Lime soup is fantastic and comes with most meals. Back room can be quite cold in the winter time, little fireplace can't keep it warm and the dining area where the front door opens can also be cool with the door opening and closing so often. Wear your coats or warm clothes if eating in those areas and it's freezing out side. Great take out service also.
