Eight of us met for a great dinner here. Service was impeccable. Drinks were ordered and delivered without delay. We ordered appetizer, salads and entrees. We all ordered something different. Everyone seemed pleased and everything looked terrific. My osso bucco was very tasty although a bit salty for my taste.
Everyone stated it was an enjoyable experience. We had separate checks for our 4 couples and they were handled extremely well.
The Orchard never fails to impress us. It will surely impress others as well.

The hostess stated we were early, very early and our table was not ready on at least 2 occasions. We arrived 10 minutes early for an 8:15 reservation. She was very rude and set the mood for us. Server was very entertaining, food was good, wine offered a vast selection. Desserts were very enjoyable. Table next to us had a toddler and they played videos on their phone very loudly and no one asked them to turn it down after we complained.

We stopped here on a roadtrip to grab coffee. Eclectically decorated inside with a nice porch. The coffee was fine, nothing amazing. Small selection of snacks. Service was fine. Good location right at a major intersection making it ideal for a quick stop and coffee refill. Average prices.

Great place for families wanting ice cream, candy, candied apples and much more. Clean, good service and located in a courtyard setting surrounded by other clothing stores, restaurants and a sauce specialty shop called Colonel Mustard's that is a must stop.

Food was delicious. All meals are tapas style or small dishes to be shared. Prices are expensive since they all add up but the taste was incredible. Had oysters, mussels, beet salad, avocado salad, lamb and duck. All wonderful.

We absolutely love Wolfgang’s! They have the great combination of incredibly friendly and helpful staff, great menu and daily specials, and a wine list that is made for all tastes and budgets. The mix of Creole/Cajun, German, and American style food provides something for everybody. And I can’t forget to mention the many seating areas they have to offer, from the Bistro (indoor and outdoor), the front dining area (indoor and outdoor) and then the original dining areas in the house, where the kitchen and restrooms are located. When in Highlands, you definitely should visit Wolfgang’s - at least once!

So I wanted a quick snack and a drink. We ended up at Mica' s which was recommended by a local friend.
I ordered the wings and fries. Wife shares a shrimp and grits dish.
Wings were to die for. Perfectly crispy..perfwxt heat and the floor was on point. Highly recommend this dish.
As for the other dish...it wasn't as impressive as it's description and presentation. The sauce was overwhelming the dish.
Menu looked good. Diverse and yet had the basic items kids would go for. Beer selection was adequate. Not too many but what was offered was perfect.

This is a basic restaurant with really good food, healthy options-- and good beer.
Fantastic, huge salads. Really good pizza. And yummy sandwiches.
You place your order, choose specific pizza toppings, and order drinks at the counter then the staff brings your meal to the table when ready.
You can eat in the main dining area...
Or on the large porch. Love that area. It has a fireplace and heavy vinyl roll-downs so its warm on cold nights. There's even live music Wednesday nights.
A really fun place to go for lunch or dinner or a casual time out with friends.

If you are new to Cashiers, you will surely miss the Starbucks.
So, yes: THERE IS A STARBUCKS IN CASHIERS.....and it is a good one!
Just past the Crossroads (Highways 64 & 107) on 64 East is Ingles Super Market. This is the top grossing Ingles in the chain and home to an in store genuine Starbucks that greets you as you enter the store entrance on your Right.
There is limited seating behind the kiosk with free wifi and great Starbucks coffee and sandwiches as you would expect.
Engles is open until 10pm daily. There is another coffee spot in Cashiers at the Crossroads called Bucks which is free standing, has great coffee, comfortable seating and covered porch with rocking chairs and free wifi.
Enjoy!

Retail Farmers Market With Many Upscale Gourmet Products. Fresh Baked Breads and Desserts. Fruit Pies Baked Daily. Many Frozen Freshly Made Casseroles. Local Beef and Pork. Fresh Coastal Seafood. On The Side BBQ With Full Take Out Lunch and BBQ Menu.
I loved the market just by itself, as it’s exactly the kind of place you expect and want to visit while in the area. It’s picture perfect. BUT, then I ate lunch at the “On the Side” bbq stand. Y’all...I’m sure it’s all excellent, but I can only review what I ate - The brisket sandwich with western NC sauce. Without exaggeration, and I’ve eaten great bbq in all the big 4 bbq regions, and everywhere in between - this is some of best brisket you’ll ever eat. It’s so tender and packed with flavor you’ll be sad when it’s gone. I was. Eat that bbq!
