This is a popular and often crowded restaurant, so we opted to try it on a rainy, cold weekday evening hoping to find it less busy. We were right, and were immediately seated. Servers were quick to come to the table but were rushed and disinterested. Salad was small for the price but main potions were huge. All four of us had a lot to take home. Food was good, but nothing special. The service was what annoyed us the most. Wait staff was in a rush, leaving the table even before they had the orders clear. We had to call them back to get the salad, drinks, etc right. Even the final coffee order was not right (one was brought, not two). The wait staff was rushing to clear the table. At least three or four times the bread basket was lifted and we asked them to leave it. Beer glasses were taken before empty. We felt swarmed upon by staff (2 or 3 around us at once) looking to clear the table and assist in packing up our left overs. (The restaurant was in no way full, and there was no one waiting for our table.) Also, the final bill arrived low on ink with such washed out print that it was difficult to read. We did not want to get our specific servers in trouble by complaining about them, but we do feel that the entire staff should be told to be more attentive to specific requests, and not swarm the table like that!

Our visit was no less enjoyable than the last. This hole in the wall looking old diner serves some of the best southern style barbeque anywhere in NY. We started with the bisquits and butter, along with fried pickles and some awesome Chile. For entree's 3 in our party couldn't resist a rack of ribs and I chose the melt in your mouth smoked brisket, which had about zero visible fat. If you're lookin for a lean rendition of first cut brisket, try it. Portion is a bit small, but along with the 2 sides, it's enough. Speaking of which, the baked beans with tid-bits of brisket was perfect, as were the 3 huge beer batter onion rings. Cole slaw was fresh. Then, for dessert, we tried portions of banana cream pie and an obligatory helping of pumpkin pie. They were both up with the best I ever tasted. B&B doesn't accept credit cards and doesn't accept reservations, so plan accordingly. And, dress DOWN. Also, they have no liquor license, so BYOB or wine, and I might suggest, as we do, bring your own wine glasses!. Service is professional, but the mastery is evident from what emerges from the kitchen. Ample parking and 3 steps up ad you're in.

Have recently been back there for weekend brunch and dinner, and the experience is perfection each Tim. The wait staff is attentive and remembers the special requests that we have. They work with the chef to accommodate and they are friendly. Everything from the octopus to the mussels, salads, Mac daddy burger (bacon Mac and cheese on a burger....what's better than that)!!! Raw bar is fresh and delish. Large and well rounded selection of red and white wine by glass and the bottle and great beer selection as well. Excellent experience every time.

"Tapas and more by brothers from Spain" Sangria 71 serves a large variety of authentic Tapas, Sangria and Savory Paellas in festive casual atmosphere.
The food ( third time visit) was very good. Unfortunately, the service was irregular. Not sure what to make of it. With a party of 4 or more, the restaurant has to figure an 1 1/2 to 2 hour dinner is fairly common with drinks, appetizers and dessert. Yet, the service which initially was right on top of things with refilling the water glasses and plate removal became overkill. This included the waiter as well and even more so. In Spain and other Latin American countries, It's almost an insult to be given the check when you didn't ask for it. Or for that matter, asking are you ready to order repeatedly every second. Granted it was a Saturday night, but it still left a bad taste. Worth the 2 star downgrade.

Do you want Italian Food to it's very Best, then Vincent's is the place. The food is just amazing and the portions are huge. There are certain nights that a celebrity Chef Mr. Gannascoli from the Sopranos will prepare your meal. The Owner Bobby is a great host and makes sure all is special. Get the Tiramisu for dessert.

I heard such great things about this place and although it wasn't horrible it wasn't great either. I ordered the shrimp and grits which lacked flavor and the portion was small. Our waiter was non attentive which only made the experience worse.

Churrasqueira Bairrada Restaurant is an authentic Portuguese rodizio renowned for its classic briquette-fired cuisine.Founded in 1992 by Manuel Carvalho, Churrasqueira quickly captured the attention of The New York Times, earning rave reviews and a frenetic following that continues to this day. Fame for its chicken and its spirited atmosphere and celebrity sightings as well as its flavorful fare, Churrasqueira is a source of pride for Mineola’s large Portuguese population – and a staple for anyone that loves classic latin and portuguese cuisine.
We were a group of 10 and had a very nice meal here. For starters they put out a nice salad, unsalted potato chips, unsalted french fries and a nice rice dish. The bread was very good also. I had a very nice pork loin and my wife had the prime rib which was huge. The only problem was the prime rib was a little raw, we sent it back and they cooked it some more. Some people at the table had the all you can eat dish and I looked really really good. Overall it was a very good experience and I highly recommend this restaurant

I'm surprised you haven't already got this wonderful place listed
We've been going to this restaurant intermittently for over 15 years. The food, typically, is generally very good and it was tonight. My comments are more about the restaurant staff and service and what is an obvious step down in quality. I acknowledge, especially on Long Island, that there is a significant move toward casual, and thats fine. But the tone was set by the two hostesses, who were dressed, to be polite, sloppily and looked unkempt. I'm convinced that the waitress we had was most recently employed at a diner. Upon receiving the menus by the hostess, the waitress came over a few minutes later and without any introduction or banter immediately started with "are you ready? When I asked to tell us about the specials, she simply replied that they are listed on the menu. When she came over to take the order, she whipped out an order book from her hip typical of a diner. When a glass of the New Zealand sauvignon blanc came out which was obviously turned, we requested something else. The next wine was brought over but never did the waitress inquire if it was OK. No time during the course of the evening did the waitress or anyone come over to inquire if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. Never was the table cleared of crumbs or debris between courses. I'm afraid that although the food was tasty, at relatively significant prices (approx. $29 per entree), the service and the appearance of the staff was not up to par. I hope tonight was just a bad night but if this is the course that management is following,, we won't be back.
