Yes, Cape May is, technically, on the Jersey Shore. But it’s the antithesis of the Jersey Shore you’ll see on TV—instead of nightclubs and tanning parlors, you’ll find Victorian mansions and a famous lighthouse.

We had the 3 course pref-fix menu celebrating St. Patricks days. The food was absolutely stunning both visually and taste. We loved everything. Service was exceptional, I'd say world class. Fast, professional, always available without being over bearing. This is BYOB for wine/beer. We bought a nice bottle of wine that was $20 in the store, it would have been 65-100 with the standard wine markups most restaurants use so we enjoyed good wine at a great price, and NO Corkage fees either. There is a good reason this restaurant is the #1 spot in Cape May - it earned it and you will not be disappointed.

A must visit.
Our family has shopped here for over 28 years. Convenient and courteous.
Always remembers our family, even by name, when we shop. Their fresh chicken and meat is cut to order. Their filets are to die for and their subs are great size and very filling.

Across from the ocean, this elegant dining room serves classic American food with a special touch. Union Park Dining Room received New Jersey Monthly Magazine's 2005 thru 2016 Critics Choice Award as one of the best restaurants in New Jersey. Working his magic behind the scenes, chef John Schatz has overseen the kitchens of some sophisticated eateries in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area, including the former Maureen's in Cape May. The large, spacious dining rooms with their fireplaces, cherry & mahogany furniture & antique fixtures are romance personified. Settle in for a memorable meal. Private dining rooms available from 8 to 42 guests. Banquet Facilities: Located in the historic Hotel Macomber, union park dining room is available for both casual & elegant parties, receptions, special occasion dinners or complete weddings. Our facility can host groups up to 130 people, depending on the type of reception you desire.
We enjoyed a fine dining in the spacious dining room with a cozy fireplace, mahogany furniture and antique fixtures, Vegetarian and gluten free options are available. My husband and I shared a romantic dinner. We started with the bay scallops ceviche and oysters. Moved on to the main corse of lobster for me, crab cakes for him. Ended with delicious orange cake and whiskey ganache. The service was quiet and knowledgeable. aAl in all , a lovely evening.

I am really picky about hot dogs, but my husband and younger daughter love them, so we decided to try Hot dog Tommy's. Not only was Bruce, the owner, friendly, but they had something on the menu for everyone. I really enjoyed the Potato Tornado, and my older daughter gobbled up her tuna sandwich. My husband and younger daughter thoroughly enjoyed their hot dogs.

Ordered two different recommended dishes from our waiter that were both curry. Would have been great food had there actually been shrimp in the shrimp dish - not just tiny cut up pieces and chicken in the chicken dish. Buck up the protein and the food would be great. Don't forget to order the naan bread - delicious. Could use better lighting inside the restaurant. This is a BYOB.

Was here in summer and fall, now winter. To begin with, Justin is simply amazing, does it all. Now for dinner, Destiny is amazeballs; congenial, thorough, simply excellent. Food was outstanding, pace of meal outstanding. Breakfast this morning with Justin was over the top.

Had a couples post-Valentines dinner here (2/18), Seated promptly upon arrival with a reservation, and joined many sized parties in the first dining room on the left. There are several rooms within the restored house. Its also BYOB, and they will open wine for you upon request.
Eggplant rolllantini was our app, and our two entrees were penne pasta scampi and gnocchi al gorgo. Both were excellent with large portions. Excellent service provided by Max. Plenty of support/bussers on the shift to gather plates and refill drinks. I'd gladly recommend this location to other visitors

House specialties include local seafood, steak and pasta. The special board is always loaded with local favorites like baby lamb chops, crab imperial and more. The bread is made fresh daily and desserts are made in house. We are BYOB.
Yes, this is in a strip mall and you will question whether this is really the restaurant you've heard about. But don't hesitate. This IS the place. The menu is supplemented by a large number of specials. Great fish options, terrific lamb, great filet. The dishes generally come with a combo of sweet and white mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. Everything is fresh and delicious, and we were lucky enough to have a very pleasant and helpful server. Dessert is worth the price of admission all by itself -- great cobblers, peanut butter pie, and even a solid bananas foster.
