...and I can see why. Went with my cousin who is a local...who couldn't say enough about the breakfast sandwiches. I had the Jerry Mac with modifications....they are very accommodating..which was scrambled eggs, sausage, grilled onions and peppers without the cheese and subbed out for...MoreSticher49, thank you so much for visiting our Deli and glad you enjoyed your famous Jerry Mac breakfast sandwich. You must try a specialty lunch sandwich next time. THanks again.

We stopped in late one night, just before closing. Cheshire's had been recommended by our B&B hosts. It is large enough inside to sit a goodly number of people. They had a nice variety of appealing flavors. Our selections were very good. Not the best I've eaten. Prices are a touch on the high side. It clearly is the best in Canandaigua. We tried others.

No, seriously, it's the best coffee in upstate New York. I can't say enough good about Dalai Java, their baristas, and the sustainable practices in which they take part. I travel all over the country for work, and haven't been able to find iced coffee that comes anywhere near the flavor profile and quality of Dalai Java. They roast in small batches, everything is fresh, fair-trade, and organic. If you like coffee in its purest form, Dalai Java can't be beat.

A full service, "polished casual" restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. Beer, wine, specialty coffees & frozen drinks, served year round! We take the mystery out of crepes by fusing a French Canadian crepe, family traditions and American classics. Catering options include box lunches, party platters and customized on site chef solutions to enjoy at your office or home! Bon Appetit!
We visited for dinner while in the finger lakes and it was definitely a meal we will remember! We each enjoyed a savory crepe for dinner and a sweet one for dessert. My husband said his coconut thai curry crepe will go down as one of the best things he has ever eaten! My philly cheesesteak was very good. For dessert we chose the pumpkin and the cinnamon apple and they were both delectable. Really unique varieties, very well executed. We will definitely return!

Tom Wahl's in Avon has been a family tradition for upstate New Yorkers since 1955. Customers have been known to travel great distances just to enjoy a juicy Wahlburger™, hot crispy fries and a frosted mug or two of our delicious handcrafted root beer. Today, we still mix the root beer in each store by hand, the same as Tom's first batch, but we now have 9 upstate locations.
We really like these old style hamburger places and enjoyed our meal here very much. The food was solidly good and the establishment was clean. Service was reasonable- kind of equivalent to a casual sitdown in timing more than fast food. We ordered at the counter then waited for our buzzer to let us know the food was ready. We would eat here again in the area-- it lacked other places to eat near our hotel.

You feel like you're eating in your Italian grandmas garage. The menu had wonderful bar food and wonderful Italian cuisine. It's excellent casual dining.

Scoops is a nice little ice cream/frozen yogurt stand right near the north end of the lake. It is easy to get to and the service was great. Perry's Ice Cream is always a hit. But, if it is a warm summer day,as it was, I suggest you add a bowl and spoon to your order!!

Back in the day, I used to eat frequently at the Rochester German Club and the food was very authentic and tasted great. Have tried other German Restaurants over the years but never had food that lived up to that memory. My wife and I decided to give Rheinblick a try after hearing from friends who had eaten there and checking the ratings on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. We went for lunch and started by sharing a Kartoffelpuffer appetizer served with applesauce. They were fantastic. For our lunch, my wife had the Schweinerbraten Lunch served with spatzle and red cabbage, while I had the Schnitzel Lunch served with warm German Potato Salad and Red Cabbage. Everything was prepared perfectly and equaled my memories of years ago. We ended by sharing an Apfelstrudel a la mode. It was great. And we were sorry our lunch had come to an end. Our server was excellent and helpful in recommending a dish for my wife. We will be going back.

I was so excited when my husband decided to stop in the middle of the afternoon for some Abbott's (frozen custard). It has been a while since we've had it, and it was just as delicious as I remembered.
When reading the flavors, I was delighted to find Pistachio Pineapple! I haven't had this since college (many years ago), and it is my favorite!!
Do not miss out! Go there! Now!!

I selected Casa De Pasta (again) for my girlfriends birthday dinner. I wanted good food and a romantic setting and someplace I could make reservations with online. Casa De Pasta was all of that and more.
We arrived ahead of our reservation in order to have drinks at the bar. Our table was actually ready ahead of time but we elected to wait and that was agreeable with the Host. We enjoyed drinks and talking with the very friendly patrons who all seemed to be regulars at the restaurant.
Our table for two was in a nice corner of the room and for an eight o:clock seating the room was very busy. Always a good sign of the quality of the food. I ordered the Fusilli Bolognese and my girlfriend ordered the Chicken Parmesan. Soup and salad came as the first course followed by warm, soft Italian bread. Our main course arrived very hot and quite plentiful. The Fusilli Bolognese I had was out of this world. My girlfriend could not say enough good things about the Chicken Parmesan.
We were too full from dinner to have any dessert and yes we did need to take some home with us. Our server was a pure delight. Very attentive to us and our preferences.
I can't count the number of times I've been to Casa De Pasta but I never fail to enjoy my dinning experience. I will continue to return again and again.
