Vintage American Casual Restaurant located in beautiful Cadiz Kentucky in our brand new wonderfully built agriculturally inspired building . Live Piano music most nights, attentive staff and hand crafted food and cocktails. Our Executive Chef, Brett Clayton prepares delicious and eclectic dishes on our extensive menu. There is a memorable evening waiting for you to discover here at Harper House. Stop in or plan a special occasion with Chris and Nelson Daniels at the Harper House. We also have banquet facilities for parties of 12-130 guests.
We went with a group of friends. I did enjoy the deviled eggs. But then not much else. Our waiter was nice but did not refill drinks when needed and had to ask a few times. We had to request bread after we saw everyone else getting it with drinks. My husband ordered a bourbon but never received it. And my steak was burnt. CHARRED. It wasn’t over the flame taste. It was eating crisp black burnt. As was my friends steak. I didn’t want to complain due to the group we were with. Others seemed to be enjoying their meals. So as I was leaving, I picked up a card that said “if you can’t rate us a 10, please call me personally”...so I did, twice, never got a call back. So unfortunately I wasn’t impressed.

We love to treat ourselves to their great food on the weekends and eat here! Real comfort food - really well done! Not huge wasteful (or waist-full) portions but also not huge high prices! Love the pies too! (don't forget a awesome glass of sweet tea!)
FYI - They are only open Wed-Sun lunch and dinner.

Coffee shop featuring Sunergos coffee from Louisville, KY, as well as a cafe featuring breakfast, sandwiches, soups, salads, and dessert. All menu options are made in-house!
Cappuccino, Mocha and egg salad sandwiches made for a great lunch. Loved the cabin atmosphere. Men's restroom exceptionally clean. Mentioned this so you know how clean everything is in this wonderful little eatery.

What a delicious Sunday buffet. Chicken and dressing was the real thing with delicious gravy. The Lima beans were fresh, the yeast rolls were hot and the coconut pie was outstanding. So many choices, all delicious. Multiple desserts. Excellent salad bar, many options. Every day is a different buffet. Can't wait until Thursday for the homemade chicken and dumplings. Highly highly recommend. Good tea also. Really nice people waiting on us. A large restaurant with plenty of room.

We stopped off here for breakfast one morning. We saw the sign that said "special breakfast" and I thought to myself, I want a special breakfast! I had biscuits and gravy, bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. And it was cheap. Even better, it was super delicious! The only downside is that the locals smoke in there and if you are allergic to smoke, don't even stop by. It's overwhelming. But if you can put up with it for a bit, it's worth a trip to visit. We'd go back again for sure! One of the best mom and pop breakfasts I've ever eaten on a trip.

Food for Fuel, no more. Part of a chain, I think, as there is another in Nashville TN
Pretty typical Cracker Barrel but there food was better than average. I got the meatloaf dinner with dumplings and two portions of hash brown casserole and everything was really well prepared and still good and hot when it arrived. The meatloaf was excellent. Our server was really nice, too. One of the better Cracker Barrel's that we've eat at.

My wife and I ate here two nights back to back and both times were excellent. The staff were very courteous, seated us promptly, and made us feel welcome. Our food was excellent. Everything was well prepared and very tasty. The salsa was really good. It had just enough spice to be just right. The chips were fresh and crisp. We would definitely eat here again when in town.
